I get the death one. My brother took his life at 21 I was 18. I don’t know how my mum & dad coped (especially as I have kids now & understand ) kills me now looking back. Then my mum got ill & my fear was who would have my kids if my husband and I passed I went through such dark times worrying as my mum died then my dad 3 years later. Luckily my kids are 27 & 25 now but I so wish mum & dad could see how well they’ve done, they would be bursting with pride. It’s hard. Yes I have my own family & of course I’m lucky & love them yet I have a part that feels that the first part of my life didn’t exist as there is no one left who knew me growing up. No one to laugh with of memories we had. Yes I tell the kids I did this and that, it’s a story to them. I just wish I had someone who lives it with me. I was adopted as was my brother (from different both mothers) we were only 6 weeks old. I had the most selfless caring parents I miss so so much. Cancer is a f***** b**** treasure every second. I hated it when I was young and people said make the most of it etc but it’s so true u don’t know what is round the corner. U have a wonderful family & u all seem to get along I’m sure u have your moments like all families, but enjoy each other., go on that holiday together make memories cause unfortunately that’s all you will have. Sorry for the morbid post. Having a bad one. Take care 💕
