Many Asian languages don’t distinguish between gender the same way English does. So yeah sometimes you get odd translations that seemingly misgender someone but, that was never truly the case.
@@sindieltaylor2147 No, there arent. Some might be used specifically to translate specific foreign pronouns, but they are not used in daily speech. Korean has no gender pronouns. In fact, it has no gramatical gender at all. It has some lexic gender, thats all.
