I found my answer! I wondered why the deep Amber/go/red filter is incredibly pleasurable to my one eye, and now I know it’s because the blue light was doing micro-damage to my partially detached retina. you rock🤘

Do you use eyeglasses, there are some deep red tinted glasses I can highly recommend. I use them too and they made wonders to my sleep and also I use them during the day when iam under artificial light ( the amber one)

John Negri A Vietnamese friend said she ise to use fire flies. They are a red light and not very bright either. They never had eye problems. I also remember reading a story in primary school about a boy catching fireflies so he could read his books at night. That also proves red is best. Cheers.

How can blue light emitted from your laptop possibly damage your skin? Think back to UV rays and consider the sunburn they can cause. There is ample energy contained in the lower light wavelengths. Studies show that exposure to blue light within the lower half of its wavelength range increases a process called intracellular oxidative stress. In essence, the inside of a cell becomes exposed to the reactive oxygen species we talked about earlier.

    "absorbs rather than blocks"
Absorbing is a way of blocking.
Another way of blocking is reflecting.
    Both are blocking mechanisms.

I never needed glasses before I was 11. The doctor said it was something that they couldn’t see me needing in the future. I had gotten my iPad when I was 11 and was quite fond of it. That year I got my eyes checked and holy hell. 3 years later I’m 14 and have very thick lenses. Right now I cannot drive, but with my vision right now, if I were to be pulled over without my glasses on, I’d get a ticket. I’m halfway blind.

If somebody want to learn more they can google it but it is true not much scientific studies have been made. This study made by Harvard is one of them: www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/blue-light-has-a-dark-side
I also made a short explanation in the comments, I have been researching on the topic for 10 months now.
These videos give some really astounding explanation:
vimeo.com/270946568 --- Alexander Wunsch is a light biologist and He can really explain the serious dangers
Jack Kruse a neurosurgeon is awesome also check his video out, it is amazing :ruclips.net/video/d7qjh4BIGbc/видео.html

Blue Light is affecting wildlife. Migration, mating, sleep, awareness, all of their senses are being bombarded by LED street lights, home lights, head lights,... They are much more sensitive to this light than are humans and are much more affected by the harmful Blue Light. The same goes for stock animals and our pets. Humans are changing the health and well-beings of animals and plants. Do we really need to be doing this?

    • @jakabjacso141

OLED displays are the same with the difference that they have high CRI color rendering index which makes them a slightly better because then the harmful blue is somewhat balanced with the regenerating red light.
I think eyeglasses are the best to block blue. I use these if you are interested : jakabstore.com

Blue light emitted from a LED computer screen is NOT more intense than the blue light emitted from the sun. Also there is no research evidence yet that directly links blue light exposure to retina (macula) degeneration as you state in your video. Please get the facts right before posting a video.
