Hi, I have a question. Will this monitor be able to run/play movies if its connected to my car's stereo system head unit which has a Cd + pen drive feature. Another question I have is if there is any on/off button on this? Will the sceen stay on by default everytime its open. Will the screen even stay on if the screen is shut down?
Hi.. I've bought one same kind.. but when i connected with 12v adaptor, it doesn't turn on.. does the video input cable also need to be connected to let it turn on?
Good Morning @TechTronic9000, how do I manually switch from AV1 to AV2?. I want to use 2 cameras but 1 screen. When in the car is put in the reverse gear, it will switch to the priority AV line
Hi. I have this monitor for front and rear cameras. I also have parking sensors front and rear! Everything works fine, but the color of the text which shows the distance on the screen is black. In the night when everything is dark near the car, I can’t see the text. Is there any solution to change the color of the text to white, green or red? Thank you!
One question , does monitor goes up when you put it in reverse or you need to manual click on that button ? I've seen on some other videos they go up by some small el.motor inside that plastic.
Bought this screen from eBay and fitted it to my car. After a month the spring loaded mechanism failed and the screen is now stuck in the closed position. The design isn't suitably sturdy to be flipped up and closed each time you use reverse gear.
I've managed to botch fix it (might not last though) but having seen the mechanism inside, it is no surprise it broke. The failed part is the tiniest bit of plastic barely 2mm thick. Glad I didn't pay the
Hello ! The monitor features 2 video inputs and one power supply. The white / yellow RCA jacks are for video input. The red DC Jack is the power supply. The monitor can stay permanently connected to the DC supply and it will automatically tun on when it senses a video input available.
+TechTronic9000 I am not able to get the battery of 12V which is easy to carry so that I can connect it to work with this monitor with my DIY PVC Handheld rig for my DSLR Camera. I am intending to use this as external monitor. Please let me know your inputs for powering this up with a light weight battery. Thanks
+darkslide180 Hahaha, ok, but you must know that finding music that works with RUclips and doesn't kill your videos for copyright infringements is not very easy.

You can use a switch ton enable power to the camera that you want to use, the monitor will auto start with the working camera.

You can but only if you use a video switcher as both of them can not be displayed together.
Do u think I can install this in a car as a front view camera? And if so what cameras are compatible with this screen?
Yes you can, any analogical camera should work.

I have a question, where does the white cable connect to? Is it the power source?
Thanks!

You can use a small LiPo battery, best option will be to choose a 4s battery (4 cell) and use a 12V UBEC (voltage regulator).
