Every video I've ever watched has been like this; the ridiculously expressive and animated facial expressions and hand gestures are so unnatural and unrealistic during conversation that nobody who isn't actually in on it would ever believe this is real. If these are strictly for entertainment purposes then that's perfectly fine, but I don't know if that's the case, or if they're actually claiming these pranks are real.

If I want to prank some random stranger to keep them off-guard, I'm going to attempt to communicate with them as naturally as possible; not by gesturing towards my eyes, then to something else, then making walking motions with my fingers, and other overly exaggerated expressions and movements that any random stranger not in-the-know would immediately become suspicious of. If some person came up to me and acted like these people do, the first thing I'd think was that they were drunk, or that there was a camera somewhere in the vicinity.
