@Jasmine Hibberd. I have to agree with you. Although the lyrics don't rhyme like others there is something very different and refreshing here. I think it's due to dude's voice as well. The only song I knew of the Wombats was 'Jump into the fog'. Often times I don't like watching the video to songs because they never fit the lyrics of the song, but i'm glad I did this time, as it lead me to discover more of their songs. This song has a dope melody. The keyboard and bass has that thumpy, head poppin, steering-wheel slappin, beat.
Not entirely sure what that comment means but it sounds beautiful so it gets a like from me

I love the emotions that are so hard to articulate , but they convey so effortlessly in their lyrics and their videos: first, with Greek Tragedy and that sense of belonging that music makes you feel. How music and things you "connect with" can become obsessive and you project your ideals onto them and how they are supposed to be. Now, with Be Your Shadow. Wanting something so badly, even if you know it is improbable, illogical, or Hell stupid, and going for it with everything in your heart. Finding that even if you fail, you're at least going after the thing/person you want to be. I think we've all had that moment.
Such a great tune. Glitterbug gives me a boost and gets me through the last hours of my working day. Cheers, Wombats!

Laughed at some of the comments below. My take on this video this, scrawny guy isn't "in love" with macho wrestler. I think he really idolizes him to the point that he wants to be his shadow. Knowing can never be him, the next best thing is to be his shadow. Throughout the video you can clearly see he's training himself and wants to finally prove to his idol, he thinks he's ready, but clearly isn't. He idolizes the guy so much, that taking this beating is minimal considering he's being beaten on by his idol. No homo in this video. That's just my take.
