Summary
- Several attempts in the same sessions with learning each time
- Difficulty with lung capacity, vaporizer and (conscious and subconscious fear)
- Received encouragement from these superintelligent caring entities to persevere
- Came across this worm/brain-like area on a milder dose (image in the video)
- Interesting experience with a reality filled with mechanical gears spinning (image in the video)
- Feels like the peak of “It’s all so Incredibly Loud” by Glass Animals
- While it felt like super futuristic “industrial” it was full of love

- After reflection and reading I do not believe I achieved a full breakthrough experience
- Questions around the sharing of these experiences
- Speed and intensity of the effects
- Pre-flight jitters and continued fear about trying again
- Workout, health focus, preparation and intention-setting were helpful
- Trying to articulate experience sacrificed the reception of the message

I remember the first time i smoked dmt. It was a small dose. The ceiling texture turned into a moving web that pulsated in and out. It was like an orange blanket. It started to fade away and I thought it was over, than I put my face into my pillow and fell into complex paterns moving really fast. The cool part was zooming in. The patters broke into thousands of smaller pieces and zoomed in. I was thinking "this is cool, but not realistic" and right as that thought ended, my visual field was filled with a textured leather material that moved like liquid and looked so real. I laughed out loud for about 20 seconds uncontrollably.

A little criticism though is that you should definitely change up your thumbnails as well as your office/background. I think you could do pretty well on RUclips. Keep it up man.

Do you have any particular feedback on the thumbnails? Do you think it's just having different ones for each video versus the current template?
Definitely hope to improve the background and overall just quality of videos. It all started as a small experiment and didn't expect anyone to actually watch the videos so learning from aweosme contributors like you and improving constantly.
On a trip in India right now but hopefully you will see some higher quality and interesting content coming from me again soon.

In the past, I have been very interested in astral planes, astral projection and lucid dreaming so I am somewhat familiar with these concepts.

Relate to the mechanistic elements, for me they had mechanical but also a feathered/natural component. My earlier doses felt like these geometric beings were tickling and massaging my head, whilst their 'faces' were either smiling or dancing/flowing. Their expressions would reflect my own mental states. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Super interesting - I didn't experience the feathered/natural component in any visual form like I did the mechanical side of it - however, the actual feel of it was definitely nature-based, healing and feminine which seems contradictory but as you've experienced is not 😂
I anticipate revisiting at some point with everything I've processed and learned and hopefully will have some more worthwhile insights to share.

I've been looking for a whole week for a trip report that's similar to the experience I've had. My very first one, like yours. Similar feelings, similar imagery. Thank god I found you. I know that it's much to ask, but would you take a look at my own DMT trip report? It was kind of a terrifying experience and now i feel like I am stuck. I need to share this with someone who's been through this... and maybe get some advice?

I just did it for the first time a few hours ago. I did it two times. The first time my friend did not heat the pipe enough so the hits weren’t that big. I thought, wow, this is easy! Way less intense then i anticipated. Then, the second time, i had a full on fucking breakthrough. The things i saw were undiscribable. Words like alien, futuristic and beyond our layer of base reality come to mind. It was truly amazing, but also very scary and intense. I loved it though.
I've only taken DMT vapes Hoping to do the actual thing been getting from my mycologist dr.stamets he has been really great he ask me to start small since I'm new

Really in-depth and interesting. I took mushrooms 4 times (up to 7g). Can you talk more about how your dmt experience ''compares'' to your psilocybin experiences??

7 g is huge! I've only scaled up to about 4 - 4.5 g dried mushrooms in my life and those were already incredibly powerful.

@@tylerbryden Yep, it was crazy. Definitely had that "industrial" feeling/imagery that you talk about when I took 5g. The 2 times I took 7g I've also had that very peculiar "sci-fi/space/alien-like" experience in the come-up, like I was being transported through space to another planet/dimension in the beggining. Besides mushrooms, I think DMT is the only other psychedelic that really makes me curious to try it. Great to hear about your experiences, keep it up !

@@tylerbryden Haha you're welcome man. I am going to be releasing my take of it in due course. Pretty much exactly as you have done. There's something about it I feel I need to put into words, because it is so it, but I don't even know what I mean by that, other than that. Its so obvious yet so impossible to describe. Like the mini machines waiting for that moment, there's something about that alone which feels so obvious when you're there, like there's that "of course it is' feeling from everything. There's a level of grandure about it which can't just be forgotten about, or regarded as "just" an experience.
