I agree they can do more with their shows. The Chevrolet Music Box Theater just seems like something we all just walk by. If they have shows in there you can't tell from the outside. It needs to be redesigned a bit with a larger opening so you can see in it while going by letting you know that they do indeed perform shows in here. Also more advertising of shows outside the main entrance to the theater and throughout the park. Parents with kids need some downtime during the day with shows kids can enjoy and escape some heat for a bit in the cool A/C. If the shows were good incorporating the characters and candy they probably would see more merchandise sold as well.

@@HersheyAddict I used to go every season to see the new shows. Until shows return, I'll pass. Dance, Dance, Dance: Heartbeat! in 2017 was the best non-Disney show I've ever seen.
Honestly I think it’s a good fit but I think a Funtime Star Flyer would be better because it would give the view of the park

@@coasterfair2602 The Kissing Tower is actually very near the new ride's location. The new ride in on the slope going up from the Hollow to Kissing Tower Hill. That said, I'd also prefer a star flyer. We're losing the Wave Swinger (which my kids loved), a Star Flyer would be like Wave Swinger but better. Screaming Swing is more different.

I saw Nat & Alex Wolff play a concert at the amphitheater in 2009 and it's so sad to see it demolished. Great memories all around.
I wish there were still more options for live entertainment, not because I necessarily want it, but because I think it might cut down on ride wait times if there were a couple more things to do. There are tons of games, but not many people want to spend the extra money.

It seems strange that they would leave the stage (even supporting the proscenium with wood structuring), if they are planning on tearing it down. Although its remains could become part of a queueing area. Screamin' Swings require a a flat loading platform and a circular path swept out by each of the swings and I'm not seeing it on that hillside. Also ADA accessibility considerations make that a challenging location for any platform loading ride. That site would be better suited to an S&S Steeplechase Coaster which could use the slope of the hill.
Yesterday I had seen S&S workers walking to leave the park. This might be for the screaming swing
congratulations if you get that fro experience with Kennywood's Scream n Swing with Swing Shot there very fun and short rides With good airtime or sightless ness during full swings! I don't think capacity is something you have to worry about unless its a time for whatever reason there running just one swing, for it fits a good number of people and there plenty of flat rides that fit less people and are way longer ride cycles, Scream N Swings have a short but fun ride cycle!

This would be nice. Hershey’s roller coaster line up is world class, but they need more thrilling flat rides.

I don't live back there, but theme parks need to remove old things and replace them with new family friendly rides. This Screamin Swing is a good idea for Hershey Park.
Definitely important to keep that thrill and family balance!
Its not confirmed by the park. We may not get a swing ride considering the area being a flood area

This is good fit for Hersheypark because they desperately lack high thrill flat rides. They actually need a massive flat ride package to be honest.

@@HersheyAddict At one time during late 80’s 90s Hershey Park had a plethora of flat rides. It’s seems like all parks wanna add are these multi million dollar roller coasters and absolutely no flats to speak of. This park can easily afford about 5 flats which wouldn’t be anywhere near the cost of a major coaster.
@@HersheyAddict My opinion I think the zamperla giant discoveries are better than the S&S scream and swings they should have went with that and gotten rid of that claw ride that’s a missive eye sore in my opinion. Or I would contracted Huss rides to if they can refurbish there old school Condor ride witch I heard allegedly that is still in storage.
It’s possible this is just a “Remix” style re theme and relocation of Wave Swinger…

I think I need to bring some shows back where people that can't ride rides like the handicapped people but I think that's going to be a good thing to have a new ride for people that can ride but you have to think about the riders Hershey has to worry about the riders and the non-riders 2 they they are the price to come to the to the park to the and not even the ride rides to see some shows
Such a great location too it’s right in the midst of the hollow and the views and experience are going to be great comparing it to Wonder Woman at GAdv which is kinda at the edge it’s cool but the views aren’t the best

@@HersheyAddict the new ride has something to do with twisting and swinging. The screaming swing doesn't twist.
I am definitely not in favor of less shows. The shows aren't really for me most of the time, but as a kid, we would go on the rides and my mom loved the shows. It was one of the main reasons my mom would take us there and had fun as opposed to Dorney Park, which was closer. What I've loved about Hershey was how it really built up it's thrills since I was a kid but without sacrificing the family attractions. And on the ride side, that's still true, but losing the shows is a big hit to the family aspect of the park
I agree, while at my age I do not really need the shows, I do think they are a big part of the park for families that is lacking currently.
what's the point of having this, if there is the claw, also the capacity is going to be terrible.... meh..l I think it would be cool to get a small Mack Stryker model ride.
While other rides may have been a better fit I still think this is a great addition!

All of Waveswinger’s parts are sitting where the ride is. Don’t know if it has been reassembled or not yet.

I think I saw on Facebook that Hersheypark said there would be some kind of a show in the Chevrolet music box theater this summer. More details to follow
The talent costs too much.
While I like the new ride I’d have to imagine the cost of keeping talent on is cheaper then millions of dollars that go into building a new ride.

But do have another update on one of ride is not open the wave swinger is completely in part s because there getting completely adjustments so we don’t when the wave swinger we be reopened some time this summer so you have find out in the next video about the wave swinger .
