This video made me smile and laugh way to much. Love the knife.. Rambo got nothing on you. Its a borderline sword / machete. Crocodile Dundee style. Thanks for sharing Stay healthy
Heyyyy Rob & Russ! Gorgeous sunshine!! Comfy lookin camp!! Have the spring peepers started singin for U yet over there?? Waitin on the cookin in part 2!!!! ATB...to U both!!
Really made me laugh Rob; trying to take down the tree at the start... it was playing ball. Looking forward to part 2 and getting out into the woods myself.
I recognise that party tent 😂! Good to see you out for the night. By the way you might want to let him know the pomoly t1 mini isn't really big enough to warm it he will need a tidy sized one
NWPrimate uses very straight grain cedar when producing his lovely feathers. I live on the coast of Washington State and do a lot of camping/bushcrafting along the rivers of the Olympic peninsula. I look for cedar drift wood along the rivers. If the cedar is dry it makes some of the best feathering sticks you could ask for and oh that smell.
Glad to see you're enjoying yourself Rob. Re the teepee, once its up make a groundsheet roughly the same shape as the base and mark the corners where the peg out points are and where the centre pole should sit. When you next put up the tent throw the groundsheet down put the tent on top, peg out then open the door and put the pole in, you may have to make some small adjustments but most of the time it's nearly there.
@@RobEvansWoodsman That can get a bit complicated. I made mine from a cheap Wicks groundsheet and gaffa tape. I used a marker pen to mark out on the outside of the teepee then some shape scissors and jobs done.
Hi Rob. I recently saw a comparison video (by the 2 Dutch boys) with the Modern Bowie and the CS Trail Master. It ended up a bit confused and inconclusive to my mind. They are too frivolous for my liking. With all your experience with these knives, would you be able to make a definitive, objective assessment? Selfishly, I was thinking particularly of the TM San Mai version. I think you know why! ;-) (Leave out the cost factor - purely technical considerations). It would be much appreciated. Ta and cheers.
Cracking video that Rob👌Looked like you had a corker of a time, love Russ's new mansion, good to see him out n about (tell him Jacko said hi)👍That is a beast of a knife there, take it you're going to give us your thoughts on it in part 2? Keep up the good work/vids, solid as always ☺️👍
Hi Rob, just wanted to say I love ALL your videos and gear reviews! I have learned a ton since I began following you! I do have a question for you, I'm getting ready to purchase a large bowie knife and wanted your opinion since I've seen you use both. If you had to pick between the Fallkniven modern bowie or the Cold steel Trailmaster bowie in San Mai III which would you choose? Money is not a factor in this matter if that helps. Thanks for your opinion and any advice, I do appreciate it! Regards, Zach
Hi Zach, many thanks for the kind words my friend. Personally I prefer the Sanmai trailmaster, neither are perfect, the trailmaster could do with a larger handle and the MB is just a little too square.
Bowie knife: Great to use and own, but only knife that makes you want to have a knife bearer to carry it for you. Unbendable Tent Pegs: I'd have to learn how to use that kind. Setting up a Tee Pee, Indians let the squaws figure it out while they went hunting, fishing, or smoked a peace pipe. Cheers
Hey Rob... always a good video... I see you like your big knifes... me too😬... was wondering if you ever used a terava skrama and if so what you thought of it... I was thinking of buying one and you have never steered me wrong on a tool yet... keep up the great work... ATB 👍
Honestly, that FN looks more like small machete, rather then knife. :) Pity that NWP does not upload anymore. He made a lot of interesting stuff. Hope he'll return anytime soon.
Difficult..... pretty much on parr. Both a lot of fun to use and very capable knives. Bit more forward weight on the Busse and the finger choil is a definite plus for choking up.
Do not apologize for your little evacuation, Rob. I was having a bukake moment. Going for part 2 now.
Love that modern Bowie
Cool Video 👍
Thank U for the Info 👍
Call that a knife? Yes I F*&^%$G do!!!! Can't wait for part 2.

@@RobEvansWoodsman only in a good way. It had a lot of personality. Well done.
brilliant bit of fun ... waiting for part II

Very impressed with that Bowie and Russ's Shangri-la La! I need one of them too😉
It's an awesome tent.
“F%*@ing poles on the wonk”🤣😂👍 Great stuff, looking forward to the next one!

I've told him to get the bigger one.
Thanks

Entertaining and educational.
thank you.

It's definitely on the cards mate
@@RobEvansWoodsman Cannot wait! Thanks mate! 👍
The bowie makes a lovely satisfying 'ping' lopping off those little branches lol Shame about the price!
That one was second hand, unused, I had it for £400.
👍👍excellent 👍👍✌👌🙏🔥⛺
I’m amused that your usable feather stick beats my best 😂
They don't need to be pretty just do the job.

There's probably another two videos to come.

Be aware Verustleka (spelling?) are having delivery problems at the moment unless you have it sent via DHL I’ve been waiting 30+ days for a hoodie.

He's putting a lot of old stuff on Instagram plus loads of bows and arrows.
great video mate! how is the bowie putting up? cheers!
It's a nice knife and very capable.
Not a bod looking blade Rob, but like most Falkniven's, it only has a 3/4 size handle!
This one has a decent handle mate.
Have you a link for the coffee press Rob. Loving the bowie
They won't let me post a link.
Basically Google Titanium coffee press.
They are 35-£40
@@RobEvansWoodsman cheers Rob.
Stake the tent out first then put the pole up in it nice and snug
So... you looked like you were gonna hit the tree with the saw, then let out a fine Welsh battle cry and kicked it down. "Puzzy!!"
Bruce Lee!!!!
@@RobEvansWoodsman If you say so. Sounded more like Pussy to my English ears...:p
A high pitched Bruce Lee, trust me!

660 quid for an axe substitute!!?? Even I’m not that soft int th’ed!
I sold it last month, I only paid £400 sold it for £450.
@@RobEvansWoodsman Well Done!!
PROFI BUSHCRAFTER VIDEÓ,,,👌
A wonky pole is a product of too much coffee and not enough Yorkshire tea...just saying 👍
Good one, when I'm on my own I mostly drink "Yorkshire tea", Russ is a coffee addict.... when in Rome!!
