I love the mix of dandies in the band and louche. Mebbe the dandies are the louche. My French slang not so good. What is the word or phrase for Thrift Wear (as in clothes courtesy of Goodwill like my closets)? Tight intimate horny accents and green tights go a long way to cover vocal shrill. Yet, that thin reedy vocal (like Emmylou Harris' early timbre) conveys vulnerability and this pliable combo showed that at a cramped record shop in PoTown, Ore on a Pacific NW U.S. bus tour about 5 years ago when I stumbled onto them and caught their charm. Hope they can survive this Covid19 pandemic and global quarantine.
Here's to better days and less anxious nights, with a well-patched roof overhead and clean bathroom to call our own.
Hope you can work a Danish language song or three into the set to give our Anglo OD'd ears
