Mayhem girl;I have been thinking about the roof scene. first I have noted a deep change in Harold.I believe that the death of Root affected Harold much more that Harold would ever admit. Harold the reluctant warrior finally had to take a direct hand in the battle against Samaritan. Mr.Greer's greatest mistake was to constantly underestimate the creator of TM.Harold was in fact the most resourceful,and dangerous person on team shoot. I also think that Harold also had a "death wish" in the last few episodes.Harold was only too happy to die to prevent the loss of any more of his friends. TM knew only too well what Harold was thinking, and made an alternate plan with John to destroy Samaritan from the other roof top. What a story John Reese is in himself. You said it better than I could about the legend of the "man in the suit" who comes out of no where to help people,and then disappears.John would have fit in quiet well with King Arthur's knights. the selfless warrior who never stops serving,and never expects any happiness for himself. That I believe is why John smiled at the end of the fight. John saw an end to his personal battle with evil. Do I think John is dead ? No ! I honestly feel that John thinks that John has won his "war". This thinking would not be any different from the thinking of the average G.I. in WW II after the defeat of Germany. And remember if John is nothing else John is a soldier ! John's sole purpose now is make himself the life that John has been missing. I would venture a guess that John will be looking up that nice police councilor that John liked ! Remember Harold did manage to find Grace again ! More to come !

Think about it Root spent the last few years of her life trying to be part of TM.Root spent every waking moment obsessed with becoming part of TM on some higher level.We can only speculate on how much Root actually achieved in this effort.We only get a hint of what was going on in talks between Harold,and Root.Harold always stated his distrust,and fear of any IA's.In fact I am not all that sure that Ms.Root is truly "dead". I have a deep distrust of POI's writer's in these things.One of the writer's stated about a year ago that "don't believe that someone is dead on POI unless you see them go into the ground".(uh Huh) The writer's sure went out of their way to make sure that Elias,and Root were "real dead".I know you remember Sameen's visit to Root's grave.When the bad guys were closing in on Shaw a voice from beyond the grave (TM) warned Sameen. TM explained to Shaw that this warning from"big Sis" came from Root's ear implant.(uh huh) I may also surprise you by saying that I was not the least bit shocked by TM projecting a hologram image of Root. I"m sure we will see more of TM Root's ability's in any reincarnation of POI. And finally when TM came back on line,and called Sameen what did TM say ? Writer's do have their secret's don't they ! Sarah then treated us to one of her more devastating smiles. Why ? There is more Root in TM than meets the eye ! More to follow !

I believe that Jim is on the verge of a great career as a lead action star,and character actor.Jim is just too good to be over looked for much longer. Michael is another story. I think that Michael with his wife Carrie will go back to the Theater. I would not be surprised to see Michael appear in a character role some day.After all when you are good,good things tend to happen. Amy did an interview not long ago.Amy said that Michael was a kind,and generous man who helped you become a better actor .That is quite an endorsement ! Sarah; I don't know what direction Hollywood will take this beautiful woman. I would like to see Sarah as some type of action star. I had read that Sarah was working on a Sameen like character before Sarah came to POI. Amy; This is also a hard one to speculate on. Amy is not only a good looking woman,but also a very under rated actor. One can only hope that Amy will find a role(s) that will showcase Amy's talent.Kevin; Kevin will probably continue to be a hard working character actor. I think what is more amazing is what Kevin did with the part of fusco. Lionel started out as a corrupt bumbling cop who in time became a better man. Lionel developed into a hard bitten top Detective. Lionel started to remind me of Detective Andy Sipowicz.(yes sir !) This past season I missed the love/hate banter Lionel had with Sameen. I believe that Lionel was hit as hard as any one when Shaw went MIA.When Sameen returned in season 5 Sameen (sick and confused) pointed her gun at Fusco ! This did not help rekindle the old friendship ! However in the last episode Lionel did earn Sameen's respect in a big way.More to follow !

Mayhem Girl; I watched the last episode a few hour ago.You were quite right it was "bittersweet". I have not yet got over Roots death,and many of the things that have been happening. I expected our friends to be killed off ,but this did not happen.The episode ended with "hope". There will be a future with the Machine (Root) helping mankind.I was very happy to see Sameen return to her normal strong persona.I could very well see Sameen as the new leader,or co-leader of team shoot. I believe that Lionel would be a very strong partner for her. Also I would not be surprised if John,and Harold made a return. And finally did you notice the way Sameen smiled at the camera when the machine came back on line ?Was Sameen smiling at the machine,or Root ? There were enough indicator's in this episode to make me wonder if POI might make a return in the future.What are your thought's ?

Shaw's smile gave me a kind of happiness, I mean if she's smiling there is something more that the writers left us to decide, maybe the story of Root is not over?? what else can make her smile like this?? I wish we could listen what TM told her... too many questions. I'm not over Root's death too, I want to believe that she isn't gone but... I don't know.. it's complicated. The death scene of Reese was so emotional, in his last moment he showed, like the quotes said, how actually is: a hero that sacrificed himself for his friends, for the mission. Now John is like a ghost, the legend of the man in the suit, a vigilante that helped people in trouble coming from nowhere. Mayhem girl; I have left you several comments on the "Angel with a shot gun" comment section.I feel very strongly about Sarah's performance in season 5.Remember Sarah,and Amy were both professional models a few years ago.Models almost always are presented with perfect hair,make up,and clothing.I believe that Sarah is so secure as a person that she appeared as Shaw without looking her best.Shaw the prisoner looked "bad". Sameen put up the fight of her life against Samaritan's Brainwashing.I would go so far to say that Sameen's effort was almost super human.Samaritan,and Mr.Greer would have rewarded Shaw quiet handsomely if Shaw would have changed sides.Sameen is too honorable for that ! The problem for Shaw was that she was weakening with no clear ideal of true reality anymore.I do not believe that Samaritan could ever "break" Sameen. Sameen would have fought on until she died alone,and far from her friends.It was Root's radio message that gave Sameen an anchor in reality. Thus armed Shaw ran over her captors,and escaped.It was Root with the help of John who kept Shaw in reality until she could break away from the brainwashing. I also firmly believe that Root,and John are alive.TM would foresee the mortal threat to it's friends,and plan counter moves.Yes I believe John,and Root will return ! Someday Sameen will be walking down the street with Bear,and a person will say "Hi sweetie did you miss me ?"

Mayhem Girl; I just got the news.Season five will be aired on May 5,and after the series is complete the show will be cancelled.I cannot adequately express my disappointment,and yes you were the first unhappy fan I thought of.(kindred spirit)There will be a lot of speculation on how ,or why the show ended.I am not going to start finger pointing at this time.I believe you once said something to the effect POI deserved better.Yes we all did ! The cast will do fine,and I believe the Jim Caviezel will have a great career. Sarah will do fine, but a few more years of Sameen Shaw would have been fun !

Mayhem Girl;We live in the shoes of our hero's.In America it started with Hawkeye from"Last of the Mohicans".(the strong silent type) Now since World War II we have developed the "anti hero".Very human flawed people who rise to do great things.Our friends on team shoot have become not only friends,but also extended family.Sarah Shahi was overwhelmed by the gracious comments by the fans after Shaw was gunned down ! In my opinion I don't think the producers,and writer's of POI knew how beloved Shaw was before Shaw was lost ! (but we do !) Did I get it right ?
