  • Hello :) This is a video of me making bokash compost with food waste that accumulates every day. And it's a rural routine of making cabbage rice, grilled cabbage, and simple home-cooked rice.
Let me explain a little bit about making bokash composts that are sufficiently viable in cities :)
Bokashi means 'fermented organic matter' in Japanese
Yes, food waste is sealed with an em fermentation accelerator, and organic matter that has been fermented is soaked in soil and given 2-3 weeks to decompose and use it as a healthy compost.
The supplies are a container with a lid and a leachate outlet,
And if there's an em fermentation accelerator, it's enough at home
You can make it. In particular, leachate, which can be extracted every 2-3 days, can be diluted with water and used as a plant liquid fertilizer.
