By playing until now, it seems that the hero ability is blank for the first cycle and it is difficult to reach 2nd cycle to get value. You are attacking to banish a card with below rate attacks, so when the opponent accepts the loss and plays 3 card hands you are at a disadvantage of 1 card.

Many of the blue attack are not below rate, and we have very above rate reactions to make up for it
At least the grain that tips the scale works on C&C xD, it has put in the work before!
