As previously mentioned, on June 6th, the TLC personality-who played opposite husband Deon on the series Doubling Down With the Derricos for five seasons-finalized her divorce.
Many people were taken aback by this since they were unaware of the spouses' severe problems.
In addition, they had 14 children together.
In a video uploaded to Instagram on June 20, Karen stated, "I am doing as good as can be," and included the following: "The children are doing good." We now have a plan in place to keep them all occupied and busy because it's summertime.
After that, Karen expressed her gratitude to her followers for their direct messages since the breakup became widely known.
"I sense the affection." I truly sense the love. I feel like I could cry over it," she remarked. It's quite astounding to witness the outpouring. I simply wanted to say "thank you" to everyone for your love and support.
In 2002, Karen and Deon tied the knot.
Their divorce documents state that they intend to divide their 13 younger children's legal and physical custody equally and that Deon will be required to pay $1,166 in child support each month.
Karen will be in charge of the children's health insurance in the interim.
Following the announcement that their marriage was terminated, the reality stars released a joint statement saying, "Together, we remain unified in the parenting of our 14 beautiful children- their well-being is our priority."
"We appreciate everyone's support and understanding as we move forward for our family's well-being."

I was totally in SHOCK. I was watching the show them at the end of the show it said a few months after the show aired they filled for divorce. I had to get out my bed play it back and freeze it to make sure I read it right.
I'm so confused it must be something more going on. Of course on the show they had problems but it seemed like normal marital issues. I'm still in shock. Gosh poor children and GeeGee I love me some GeeGee is is straight up. I'm praying for this family

I have yet seen a channel or them say the reason for their divorce.
Everything is gonna be ok. Just stay close too god. No matter what you will make it through. This is not gonna be easy you are the kids, but will make a way out of no way. I love you all. And GG is a very wise women she will be there for y'all.
The signs were there. That's why I stopped watching the show... He kept wanting to get her pregnant. Some men want to break us down!

Children suffer from a divorce no matter what you do. As adults with a family holidays are always hard, because the children have to split their time or leave one out! Life is never the same!
