I went to Japan two years after this movie was released. I can say with confidence that the feeling Tokyo Drift gives was very similar to the reality at the time. It might just be that I'm in a low point in my life right now, but I look back on the early 2000s with great fondness and nostalgia. The cars, the clothes, the communities. All things I wish I could throw myself back into.

Eduard Rivera Fast Five was good, yeah, but the third one was my favorite, but I hate how this franchise has turned to an unrealistic and shitty movie, without any cars after the 4th FF. I'm not even talking about FF6 and FF7, worst FF of all.

I remember when this movie came out in '06 as a 11yo. I absolutely loved it. Was a bit confused why brian and the rest was missing at first but as the movie went on loved it more and more. It really captured that era of Car culture so well.
Today I finally made one of my dreams come true, I bought my first Mustang that I always wanted even though it's an older one to me it's new and glad I worked this hard over the years to accomplish that. It's weird I know we all use to always hear the "patience is a virtue" growing up I knew what it meant but never believed it till today I sat in my Mustang and just sat still it wasn't even started I had a few tears looking back at my past only to realize where I am now. So my message to anyone is do not give up if you want something you love keep working hard don't worry about the negative people along the way that's okay smile back and move on let them stay behind but whoever you are that isn't giving up right now, listen to me for minute I promise you will get what you want.

This song brings back so many good memories. Back when I first watched Tokyo Drift with my dad and brother, back when we all loved cars, back when I dreamt about drifting in awesome cars. And back when the F&F series was about cars, not... Not whatever superhuman mission impossible stuff they're doing now. I guess they've realized they're going bigger every time, so they embraced it and will keep raising the bar. Respect for it I guess, but those will never compare to the first 3, and they'll never spark that little kid racing joy in me quite like this did. Love this movie man, it's incredible. And beautiful too, for its age.
Now I'm wondering what this franchise would be like if a certain someone had gotten into a car accident at the end of the second movie. I believe he is the person that helped keep it going.

This song brings back so many good memories. Back when I first watched Tokyo Drift with my dad and brother, back when we all loved cars, back when I dreamt about drifting in awesome cars. And back when the F&F series was about cars, not... Not whatever superhuman mission impossible stuff they're doing now.
I guess they've realized they're going bigger every time, so they embraced it and will keep raising the bar. Respect for it I guess, but those will never compare to the first 3, and they'll never spark that little kid racing joy in me quite like this did. Love this movie man, it's incredible. And beautiful too, for its age.
