Fire downbelow written by Jerry Sheff for Elvis...but he never came around to do the vocals. Now done by Big Fat Snake(Denmark)with the TCB Band and the Sweet Inspirations
I had the pleasure of being in the studio with James , Jerry, Glen D.. and Billy Swan when they were demoing the song at Billy's studio at Hus Sherman Oak's place. Jerry told me the story about Elvis getting sick and not finishing the song. Felton Jarvis his producer , felt it would have been his biggest hit since Burning Love. What a great bunch of guys and players. They sure treated me nice, it was a special treat to watch them record. I just soaked it all up! It was like going to school. Rock on Guys!
Thanks for posting and lets try to keep wonderful music like the music played by the TCB Band alive and well..So to them Jerry, Ronnie, James and Glenn as well as the Sweet Inspirations a Big Heart felt thank you Keith
What makes this particular version good is the TCB band and the Sweet Inspirations...I mean how in the world could anyone play a better lead then the Hall of famer James Burton.. :)
Just read Mr. Scheff's Bio on his web page, Like the rest of the TCB Band He easily stands on his own and a very rounded musician...This wonderful song meant for the King is just a sampling...Big Fat Snake Does It very well and not taking one thing away from Him..In particular with this piece is the enthusiasm of the 1st seated of the 3 Sweet inspirations...

Einfach ein geiler song !
Burning love part 2
I sure wish Elvis could have done this, it is sort of like Burning Love and Way Down. He would have tore it up.
Real sad Elvis didn't recorded it cause I'm sure he would have done a great job.
Anders rocks this one :D
sure would have great if Elvis had recrded this oe, it was ne he was going to do but died before he got the chance'
Listen to bouke ( Nederland)
Ja ook goed....maar beter weet ik niet.
Bouke? Nah! He sucks! Tries to sound like Elvis too much. The guy in this video does it in his own style, and it's a fabulous rendition.
WOW.... TCB Band and the Sweets! That's some Tutt Scheff any way you look at it!
@@freddysnip6257As well as Shakin’ Stevens.
