Dear Harold, I’m 63 & still mourn for a mother who had her problems & a father who was a womaniser & left when I was so young that I have no memory of him at all. I’ve only been a SDA Christian for 13 years. I still wrestle with my relationship with God because I feel unworthy of His love because of my parents but God keeps showing me that He loves me. I’ve tried to do better for my children but I don’t know if I’ve been successful in that really, as I didn’t have a relationship with God while I was bringing them up. I look forward to Jesus’ return when there will be no more tears. God keeps all our tears in a bottle (Psalm 56:8). He knows our sufferings. And thank you Pua for comforting Harold. I am Maitu Mekat, I was very blessed with what you disscused on Hope Sabbath school lesson disscusion. thanks for your encouragement of the word of God that you share. One of the important part that challange me was song that you sang. thanks all teams in the group what you was really admired and help me alot. personal relationship with God is very imoortant and help of what we need to make in our hearts. friends and family i was sick in bad condition with typoid and nambness but through God i was healed.
Prayer, fasting in taking the issue of our emotional healing from the trauma is important and very good Christian counseling is also important. It help a great deal to help you overcome these things and be the best parent to your children and spouse to your husdand. See my longer post above to Harold on what can be done to get victory over these terrible circumstances. Trust God and he will do it for you. GIve it all to him and he will do it for you.
Very interesting and blessed session. One cannot but be touched by Harold's testimony and emotional hurt. This is the second time I have seen him get emotional on the program. May I respectfully say that he does need all the love and support we could give. Going to God in prayer and fasting for healing from the hurts and pains of the past is critical to bringing full healing and strength to have victory over these things and strength to effectively speak about these things from a position of victory and not victim. This is important and more so because if one is not healed in this respect, one would not have the fortitude to be the best Dad to their children. IF you are healed, you can minister effectively to others who are or have suffered the same fate. Jesus Christ came to heal the broken hearted and to give liberation to them that are bruised: "Luke 4: 18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised." We all suffer many of these things because of sin in the world and in the llives of people but God is able and willing to help us heal from the hurt if we surrender it to him and forgive those who have hurt us. IF we do not deal with this and get the Lord's healing there is the danger that we carry the hurt to adulthood and this would impact our relationships with others - spouse and children. I recall an SDA pastor, he suffered a lot of abuse as a child, he did not deal with it but thought he could handle it all on his own quietly. Things went horribly wrong because he failed to get help by getting the right intervention - prayer and counseling! In the end, his relationship with his child and wife were severely damaged when he could not respond appropriately to the normal challanges of family life and marriage life because of the damage from abuse of the past by others. After decades of marriage he separated from his wife and lost his relationship with his child. Now, we are trying to help restore the broken relationships. So, to Harold, lets continue to lift him up in prayers and he should also take it to the Lord in prayers and forgive all who have hurt him, and ensure he gets some very good Christian counseling to help him get through the trauma. This is vital going forward. Thankfully, Brittany, his wife is a lovely and strong individual who can provide the necessary support to help him on this journey and he should cooperate with her for the good of the family going forward. The good Lord will see them through, IJN, Amen! 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤

Same times when we are suffering feels like no answer to our pain when we are in pain but Gad is in pain with us too. And ❤ your pain is in thousands of people or young people who don’t want to believe, because of what see their pain is the end of it , we just pray to Almighty to give them hope and open their eyes. Lord Jesus you keep me encouraged please hear my prayers being a single mother with two special needs children is overwhelming and challenging. I’m desperately trying to provide for them. Lord give me strength as I continue to struggle to buy groceries and as I struggle to pay bills. I keep faith because I know you LORD JESUS will change my situation. Faith over fear.💕
Dearest Harold, thank you for your testimony. I am so sorry for the difficulty you endured in life. It must have been very difficult for you. It was not God's intention for any of us to suffer so much physically and emotionally. Think positive brother. Now is the time to think positive and to focus on your lovely wife and daughter by helping them see Christ in you. Every one of us comes in this world with inherited and acquired predisposition to sin. But God's love for us sinners is awesome. Forgive your parents. Most likely they experienced tremendous guilt and shame in life. If they are still alive, plead with God to help you forgive them as Christ forgave you. Take care.

Same times when we are suffering feels like no answer to our pain when we are in pain but Gad is in pain with us too. And ❤ your pain is in thousands of people or young people who don’t want to believe, because of what see their pain is the end of it , we just pray to Almighty to give them hope and open their eyes. Please pray for my family in similar situations 😂❤❤❤❤

Lord Jesus you keep me encouraged please hear my prayers being a single mother with two special needs children is overwhelming and challenging. I’m desperately trying to provide for them. Lord give me strength as I continue to struggle to buy groceries and as I struggle to pay bills. I keep faith because I know you LORD JESUS will change my situation. Faith over fear.💕
Dearest Harold, thank you for your testimony. I am so sorry for the difficulty you endured in life. It must have been very difficult for you. It was not God's intention for any of us to suffer so much physically and emotionally. Think positive brother. Now is the time to think positive and to focus on your lovely wife and daughter by helping them see Christ in you. Every one of us comes in this world with inherited and acquired predisposition to sin. But God's love for us sinners is awesome. Forgive your parents. Most likely they experienced tremendous guilt and shame in life. If they are still alive, plead with God to help you forgive them as Christ forgave you. Take care.
