I'm a Harley guy but when I see this bike!! I like it...
I am tried and true harley guy, but love all bikes, that being said I really, really like this bike.
Kawasaki hit a homerun in looks!
A lot of Harley riders like it, my buddy has Road Glide, but loves the Vaquero. Comes down to this, those that buy a bike becauese they like to ride and those that buy a Harley because they want an image...easy to spot, some guy on an Iron wouldn't even look at me on my Ducati Monster 796, when we both were at a light, lol.
A six speed IS fairly new and impressive if you know anything about Japanese cruisers and how they've been holding out on that.. the last thing to help me pull the trigger too. Def getting one.
Always wanted a HD. Got a Kawi. It all comes down to bang for the buck. One thing I have noticed across the whole lot of them though is they ALL use basically the same bike across the lines. I don't mean CO to CO. but within themselves. Look at every single one. Same engine, trans, frames, bags etc. Cost effective that way I know but they are getting to where they look the same from model to model.
I have always ridden yamaha stars and one harley but I really like the way this bike looks and the features it has on it. Now if I could just find some extra cash.

I sat on a Vaquero yesterday and only heavy restraint and the need to sell my Yamaha kept my name off the title. This is one hell of a machine. As much as I like the Harley Road King, the reason Harley still exists is religion. Some men and women refuse to consider a metric no matter how good and how affordable.
I went to check out one of these Vaqueros. My only complaints aesthetic wise is that the gauge backgrounds look super cheap (as if they came off a child's three-wheeler), the bags out on the side (which isn't too bad) and that I am sad that a lot of these bikes are going with plastic fenders, but that's just my opinion.
Real rider will like this. Posers who think a v twin cruiser HAS to be HD will not.
