Incredible beautiful area! Love hiking in the Deschutes, Gifford Pinchot, Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie, and Wenatchee National Forests.
Mount Washington, Mount Adams, Mount Jefferson, Mount Baker, and the Dark Divide are some of my favorite areas to hike in.

I live within the boundary of the Deschutes NF. Our wilderness areas are way over used. I have hiked the trails and often see 50 to 100 people each day. That is not a wilderness experience, that is Disney Land. Because so many people use these areas trail heads and parking lots are over used and roads are blocked by parked cars.
