    Good video. I had one that leaked terribly put John deere corn head grease been in there 6 year's never leaked a drop run it in finish mower and tiller had finished mower bout 12 year's. Good luck. Thanks for sharing be safe have fun

    Old time trick is to fill with grease from grease gun will hold for a long time just fill it up

    I came to see some.real.agony, but you caved!
    Penetrating oil at the top of the shaft and a heavy pounding bar. Alternate hitting on the blade bar and the pan will usually fall down.
    The price of the seal is small compared to the sweat price.

    Corn head grease/00 grease will fix your problem....

    a redneck way to fix the oil leak is to put a couple ounces of brake fluid in the gearbox this will cause the rubber oil seal to soften and swell a little what do you have to lose go ahead and try it
