loved watching these videos, glad you had an amazing trip and shared it with your dad as well. I hope I can do the same in the future. Quality content as always Vince. + the hello panda in the back makes it even more memorable LOL
Cool that you got some green chile burgers in New Mexico! Lived there for 15 years. Also awesome to hear your car had minimal issues during your trip 👌 Gotta love our Supras.
Loved the video im interested in getting a Supra and possibly putting modifications to hit around 800 hp. If I were to daily it would there probably be problems that I could encounter and how reliable do you think having such high hp car for a daily is? Also have you drove it in rain or snow any problems with that since the car has high hp.
Love the content! Maybe I missed it but can you talk about maintenance throughout the road trip? I know you prepped the car before embarking, just wondering about during the trip. I'm assuming you had to do an oil change at 5k miles or so?
Thank you! Good point, I did not really talk much about the maintenance of the car because there really was not anything to talk about other than the 3K oil change that I did in Seattle. I did an oil change once I got home (after 5K miles) which was past the usual 2-3K miles that I do, but since I did not beat on the car and did not really run a lot of ethanol during the trip, it was okay.
Sorry if this is a dumb question I got a 2025 Supra and I’m new to the whole car scene. I was reading about Femto and how they can only partially unlock an ecu dated after June 2020. Can you still run a KLM turbo kit and have high hp (600+) with only a partial unlocked ecu and a tune such as BM3? Or would I need to clone it so I can get tuned with EcuTek for example.
Yeah Yosemite was awesome. Really wish we were able to spend more time there. We just made a loop and left since we had a time crunch. Hoping to go back there soon!
For 2 weeks all in? Probably in the $3-4K range. We did end up staying with family friends and my in-laws so saved a decent amount of money with that. 100% worth it though.
I just put an AirTag inside of the box. Technically yes they can, but it'll probably take 2-3 people to do it. If they are determined, they definitely can lol
Just some highway patrol, but the combination Waze and the Uniden R7 has served me pretty well. Highly recommended if you are planning on doing a road-trip like this!
@@VinceChristmastreedid you get pulled over or paced? I have a radar detector but just for little things like no front plates or front window tint.. or they aint tripping just speed?
Only pulled over once for crossing into the HOV lane in SoCal, but other than that, nope thankfully! I didn't get any trouble with my exhaust, tint, or anything due to me having Oklahoma plates.

I love Yosemite!! Halfdome is such a cool geological formation. Did you go to the Ahwahnee? Don't hit the bears!

@ my brother lives in Fresno. We went to Bass Lake last Christmas where they filmed The Great Outdoors
If I lived that close to Yosemite, honestly I probably would go every other week lol
Great content Vince, what was your estimated total cost for the whole trip ??

Why didn't you choose to push the roof box back over the rear wing?
Because I want to open the rear hatch
@ true, that’s probably important 😅
Yeah I had a cooler and various tools in the back
What did you do in terms of security for your box and monkeybar seasucker? Cant people just take the suction cups off and walk off with your box?
I just put an AirTag inside of the box. Technically yes they can, but it'll probably take 2-3 people to do it. If they are determined, they definitely can lol
Man! Yall ate up them roads! Did you encounter any law enforcement? I love road tripping but never took my modded whip.. i want to but scared haha

@@kevindomingo7749 Thank you bro! Appreciate you watching and hope you can as well.
Id be careful flying the drone. It's illegal to fly them in National Parks. Great series tho!
Yeah had to be careful lol thanks for the kind words!
