TIP FOR EVERYONE struggling with the ender : 3+4 (motion switch) into f+3 -> 4~3 (tyaaaa!) AFTER the tornado -> dash or even RUN up as usual BUT input the motion switch 3+4 as back+3+4 you can run up as deep as you could in tekken 7 , without getting the stupid running animation or without getting the awkward step forward after you did 3+4. (i copy paste this under every hwoarang combo video i find, just in case)

Have you tried pressing U+3 as they fall around your head level? (Instead of pressing it too fast)
Can you do wall combos, wall break and floor break stuff? I feel like that would level me up like crazy!

The hwoarang rule of thumb is balcony break = free bicycle kick usually. The bicycle kick (u/b+3) is always guaranteed, but there are higher damage options depending on when you break the wall
Hey I think I might've played you, (Leon Kennedy skin) mirror match and I remember thinking 'oh cool! another Leon Kennedy Hwoarang', if that's what you were going for anyway. Nice guide/vid too!
Idk how to input dash into backlash this lightning fast. I fail every time
make sure after you dash you’re only pressing 3+4 and no other buttons, allow yourself to get into that stance before pressing anything or else you’ll just be doing f, f, f 3 or f,f,f 4 - let me know if this helps.
also if you're using a gamepad map 3+4 to a separate button, makes life much easier
@@grannywalter how do you backlash with one button map? You need to slide 3 to 4 to bring out backlash
@@bar0n300 You don't. I mean that backlash is available from right foot forward stance only. so if you're in left foot forward stance you first need to input 3+4 (to change stance) then slide 3~4 to backlash.
either way it's hard to hit 3+4 consistently on a gamepad if you're using your thumb, so mapping it to one button helps a lot, because you need to change stances in a lot of situations to utilise all of Hwoarang's tools
idk if this is old tech but dash up 3+4 can be tricky, but u can make it easier by pressing b3+4 instead of just 3+4. feels more consistent, anyways.
Any tips on the first combo? I can't get the right timing with the right stand 3~4 attack.

I am getting the first combo but it drops the combo meter as I hit 3~4, anyone has an advice or tip ( I guess I have to do backlash frame perfect for it to count)

@@basuka93 I still need help no matter how much I practice I just can't get it for longer combos. For example b3, f4, 3~4, u3, uf 3+4f, uf 4, DASH 3+4, 3~4 DASH ub 3

When do the F4 + B3 combo into 4444. It always changes into flamingo which prevents me from dashing. how the fk can he do that????

@@iamXinc I found out. It's because F4 + quick stop and B3, don't F4 and change quickly B3, the game will understand that you want to continue the command and leads to different moves. you must stop the input properly then you're fine. Hope that helps. Now I can do this combo all the time which is cool
@@antran7044 Thanks, bro. But it doesn't work for me at all, I tried a pause between f4 and b3 but the same thing happens. I am either too far to then connect 4444 or it connects as FF4. I am using ps5 dpad.
@@antran7044 Hey, it finally worked. The dash was the issue, I wasn't doing it properly (tap F twice) and also have to add a slight gap before doing 4444, can do consistently now. :)

unsure of the input in the first combo Hold F - UF+4. i dont even know what move comes out there
Hold F just after UF 3+4 to get into left flamingo stance, this way you can get this kick (0:03) that tailflip your opponent. Without holding F, you land in left foot forward

@@AKTalal I understood the timing, now everything works out, except for ending 4~3, the last blow almost never hits. I changed the ending 4~3 to uf3+4. It turns out to be a little less damage, but it will hang on the wall.
I cant do the switch plasma blade( UF + 4) after the UF + 3 + 4 it always does the triple air attack UF 4. Can someone pls help im new to this

I cannot for the life of me get the 3~4 to hit consistently after the dash 3+4. I always either misinput and do the running 3 or my 3~4 is too slow to connect. Somebody please help, playing on keyboard.
Just go for the 3+4 f3 combos, backlash is too high level/unreliable especially on little characters like girls.

Try putting 3+4 as a back button mine is r2 so its a bit easier dash tap slide fingers for 3~4
There are 3 versions of 3+4 and master basuka does F3+4 in this video
B3+4 --> Allows you to stance switch (makes you in Right Foot Forward stance) with moving a little back
3+4 --> Allows you to stance switch (makes you in Right Foot Forward stance) in the same spot
F3+4 --> Allows you to stance switch (makes you in Right Foot Forward stance) with moving a little forward
In combos we choose F3+4
And since we do dash (F,F) into F3+4, we dont need to move our hands from the F input to do F3+4
Which means what we should do is basically Forward Forward (keep holding F) F3+4

What does the “~” mean? I’m new to fighting games and don’t understand the notation
~ means it’s asking you to press a button slightly before another button. For example he has in one combo 3~4. In Tekken another way of doing notations for the buttons is 1=square 2=triangle 3=X 4=Circle. So since the ~ is after the 3 and before the 4 in 3~4 it is asking you to pushing the 3 or x button slightly before the circle button. So it’s like resting your thumb on both the X and Circle buttons and making sure when you press in that you hit the X button first and slide your thumb from the x button upwards towards the circle button in one motion with some decent speed behind it.Slide between the two buttons with decent speed is the key

my invented combo was better: down + O > in the air 2 punchs (square) > up+left + (X+O) 2 times (not the third) > down + left O+O > Right+Right (running) + O > X , O + right O > down + left (X+O) then when he is in the floor you go running tackling and punch punch punch punch then its almost dead like 90% hp. you have to be a pro to do this np
