WhatsApp Status Not Showing (FIXED!)

Let's fix the WhatsApp status if it's not showing up correctly in this quick and easy guide.
WhatsApp lets you adjust your status settings so you can set who exactly can see your status. The default is to just let anyone in your contacts see your status on the app. However, we'll want to check and make sure your settings aren't changed and you have a different set of people or list of who can see your status. If you can't see someone else's status you will want to make sure to add them as a contact and tell them to add you as a contact so that the status shows up properly. Lastly, if those didn't work you can offload and reinstall the app to reset it. These tricks work for both iPhone and Android in 2021.

Why doesn't it show someone's status after you have already viewed it on Whatsapp but then it pops up again as viewed and then again doesn't show it in your viewed updates!?
