It makes the song all the more beautiful that no one's paying any attention. It gives him an added air of dignity. Standing and delivering an absolute masterpiece to an unappreciative crowd, completely heartfelt and not putting a note wrong. Much respect Travis.
He did this MULTIPLE times in multiple cities. I watched him do this three times....and the crowd basically shit and pissed on him. It broke my damn Heart every time.

i just seen DOTN reunion ALL ORIGINAL MEMBERS at Freedom Hill -sterling hts, MI- this past saturday!! sweeet!! they only played a half hour but was awesome every second!
One of my fave songs and one of my fave live performacnes of this song. HE is a genius. His music has helped me especially this song this past week with the major stress of a bad situation in my life and that of my husband.....His lyrics to this song gave me hope to carry on...to not give up that there is a way out of it....and things are looking up. I agree with all the comments about Travis being one of the most solid/skilled musical minds/voices ever, but you can't hold others accountable if they don't know what they're witnessing. Just consider yourselves "lucky" to know him.
Jack Endino can put Travis down all he wants. This dude is the most authentic thing since Kurt. Just a solid musician and artist. I stand with this man all day and everyday. Travis is an exceptional musician. He's the one thousandth of one percent. If you don't get it, ok. For those of us that do? then you get it....
I kind of doubt nobody knew who Layne Staley was. Alice In Chains was arguably the best band of the 90's. Maybe in their earlier days in Seattle around 89'. But they totally blew up in the 90's.

Travis really did well with the vocals here. I feel like his voice has fallen off in recent years. The drums are so lackluster though. I could do that on any kit for him if he needed me to. He needs a drummer that's a bit busier back there. Back-up vocals would be money too, like on the record.

layne didnt even write most of their songs. i saw him in little rock and the crowd was the same. nobody knew who he was and nobody cared. kind of sad.
It sucks for the real DOTN fans who want to see him though.
