I’ve been in a real rut of burnout over the hobby, paired with some nasty depression, so I took quite a few months off from building. I even considered selling off my backlog. I felt like it just wasn’t bringing me joy anymore.
A few weeks ago I decided to rewatch a few of your vids (particularly the Takumi Studios x Sinanju build), and felt that spark come back. Seeing your work and your genuine passion helped ignite that fire I had for the hobby that I thought was missing.
Since then I’ve knocked out three MG kits and felt joy and excitement the entire time.
Thank you, Gundam, for reminding me why I fell in love with the hobby in the first place. Your work and work ethic are inspiring.
I'm Glad you found that spark again, I get burnt out sometimes but then I switch to another project. My current burn out is the PG sinanju but I think it's time i go back to it after seeing this mesage.
Always appreciate Gundam puts more effort into a 7minute long painting video than goes into a full Star Wars film these days.

If only RUclips and social medias would reward people for their qualities and skills you would be a made man. Seriously this is more professional and sleeker than the vast majority of things multibillion-dollar corporations put out. Gundam related companies should be paying you to make commercials for them.

I almost deleted all my social media sites due to gunpla burnout & waaaay to many asmr wannabe videos so I feel your pain but I once I seen this video it made me to push more I battle major depression at times like you told me once it easy for an American to develop in Asian dominated hobby.
Wish I was able to get the FM Aerial sadly didn't have money at the time and it's sold out now.

these builds take a while to build and film in my free time, if the channel at least paid for it self it would be more motivating. 😅

Honestly I couldn't get passed the first two episodes. The characters felt very cliche even for a gundam series and it wasn't drawing me in at all and honestly the designs were not doing it for me either. It feels like on some of them, the proportions and design styles are clashing with each other. Also I just hate giving remote guided weapons to protagonists, especially if they are new protagonist who we have not earned them. The proportions of the Ariel also don't work for me, I perfer the more angular and more "realistic" designs.
