Really comprehensive review, thanks. It would be great to hear a little more about the durability of your carbon canoes vs. the durability or your kevlar versions.
hi. it's me, SixtyOne. my pilot likes to swing me up on his shoulder for those quick portages on day trips. gunwale on the shoulder, one hand on my front thwart, one hand carrying paddles. for cushion, we tried a small camp inflatable pillow for the shoulder, a little bit of foam, a rolled up extra layer... this year we're going to try something a little more purpose made. almost like the blocks used when i get put on top of the car. the top will have a slot for the gunwale and the bottom will be curved to match a shoulder. i think it'll work a charm. portaging 100 meters or so without gear doesn't need putting on the yoke. thanks for the informative videos.
Great video! I can't wait till I get my money right$$ I want one of those boats so so much😎💭 osprey, expedition Kevlar, carbon tech, multi height pods, knee pads, and h weave removable yoke... My dream boat 😍
I'm 260 pounds. Looking for a small light boat to carry through thick woods to hidden ponds. Any recommendations? I use a 12.7foot sit ontop kayak at the moment.
I'm not looking for your most expensive Canoe I am looking for one just to retrieve my RC boats I run RC boats and I like to go out and get them with a boat the guy who I used to do it with passed away and his wife sold the boat that we used to use so now I have to get 1 for myself I prefer a Canoe it's easier to retrieve A RC boat with please comment back on what you think would be a good boat for me I'm I am 511 and I weigh 290 pounds please comment back in let me know thank you so very much can't wait to hear back from you and I live in Connecticut thank you
Loving the Prospector 14! This is a great pack boat for the bigger person (240 lbs +). Thanks to Scott and Bill at Swift, and Dave at Baycreek in Rochester, for their fantastic customer service!
My wife and I are considering transiitioning from Bicycle touring (15,000 miles) to canoeing or kayaking. We are 69 and 73. She weighs 120#, I weigh 200# We are reasonably fit and have years of sailing experience. Paddling? Not so much. We have always been "go big or go home" folks. She is an AT through hiker, so we would go reasonably light-packs in the 25#-30# range. So 150# in her boat, 230# in my boat. We want to paddle the Northern Forest Canoe Trail next year. What boats would you suggest? Thank you. Glen
I would take a look at the Cruiser series of pack boats. You'll want either similar or matching length boats for paddling together, so I would look at the Cruiser 14.8 and perhaps a 15.8 for you
The Keewaydin 15 or Prospector 14 Pack can definitely support that weight with room to spare. The Prospector is the more stable of the two, the Keewaydin the more efficient, but both would work.
A Kevlar Fusion Pack 13.6 with no additional options is your starting point. Can get it in blue, red, or green with available two-tone bottom at no extra cost.
It would be nice if you had covered rough pricing of the models you mentioned. The website is complex, and quite vague. If I’m going to be in the market for a $3k canoe, I’d expect that point to be generalized here. This was a turn off for me.

I think the biggest plus for most people who think about buying a packboat is the easy access to all bags and gear in general
Gotta get one of those Prospector 14's. So nice! Maybe a road trip to the factory one day :)
excellent video! Swift is like the F150 of the boat world, noting but endless options and versatility, I love it.
I'm having skid plates put on my brand new Kevlar fusion Innegra Pack 13.6!
Just waiting on the call for pick-up!!
Come on ice out!!!
we love Joe Robinet and your boats
hi there from Quebec! Abused my carbon pack 12 and looooove it!
Right on! Hope spring comes soon so you can log more miles this summer

Great video! Helped me decide on which one I want to get this year.
Great video Bill! I can't wait to paddle my new Keewaydin 15 Pack this year.
That's a nice looking carbon yolk too...TRE MAGNIFIQUE!!!
his French is excellent!
What are the weight restrictions for these swift boats? ( I’m a big dude, but I love these boats)

You've got great taste Brad, we'll get you setup one day soon!
I think your canoes are by far the best in the world and wish to god I could afford one..........
So nice. Dreaming.

Have u took it out in white caps yet?
jisterKIS Yes, I have had it on very choppy lakes, and it was very stable. You won’t win any races in this boat, but you will feel secure.
Love the looks of all your boats. Is there any way to have a tandem that can also be paddled solo?
They are making one. It's called the Keewaydin 16 Combi
I look forward to getting one of those! Just curious though do you offer storage?
Give me one in T-formex and ash trim please

Is there anyone that has outfitted one of these for fishing? Is it possible to add tracks for rod holders and such
Came here because of Joe!
Do u have any flat back 16 feet who can handle 3 hp engine ?
Don't you get wet with the double blade in these?
Have you thought of designing a tandem Keewaydin 16 that can convert for a single paddler?
We make one, it's the Keewaydin 16 Combi. Has a centre seat for solo use.
So someone in the 250-300 pound range would be better off finding a more traditional “solo” canoe?
The Keewaydin 15 or Prospector 14 Pack can definitely support that weight with room to spare. The Prospector is the more stable of the two, the Keewaydin the more efficient, but both would work.
How can I get one of these in Northern California?
Do I need to go to Canada to see them?
Wish they sold these in memphis area what we can get around here is just doesn't compare to what sift offers.
we have a dealer in Knoxville called Riversports Outfitters!
“Distinctively different”
What’s best 340lbs +
I am in the usa, where can I see these?in Illinois
We have dealers in Wisconsin, Ohio, and throughout the northeast. You can see the list here: www.swiftcanoe.com/us-dealers
Just trying to figure out the cheapest option it's a 13.6 pakboats

You tell us everything except dimensions.
I gave up listening because you talk slower than my grandma moves. It's 2019 places to go, things to do, chop chop.
shut the fuck up tool
Rush, rush, rush.....sort of defeats the purpose of paddling in my opinion.
@@chimesoffreedom9026 paddle slow, on a day off work like hell so I can have a day off
