Ryu players impress me because in order to be a good Ryu player you have to be true to the core of Street Fighter no short cuts or otherwise. This is probably the most impressive 17 year old I've heard of in Street Fighter if I'm honest sounds like when Nuckle Du entered the scene!
Look out for another youngster who literally is the worlds number 1 Ryu player, His name is called Paladin. Ending Walker is MDZ Jimmy level and MachoorTV level. And those two ryu players are out of order master level. Paladin is just better.

Up until around platinum rank he is the strongest character in the game. He is extremely easy to use and pretty hard to stop so you will just stomp people by spamming headbutt and Buttsplash.

Love Ryu for JP. His tatsu kick lets you spin past projectiles and skip JPs whole range game. Can also pressure back pretty well with hadokens.
