The bible literally says “the Lord will give you prosperity.... and you will be successful in all that you do”, I have faith in God, with faith I will try different ways to set up businesses (dig wells), make money, hence receive God’s blessings so I can be a blessing to others! Awesome sermon, thank you Jesus and thank you Jonathan Shuttlesworth!

What a gifted way to put this message that is so often misunderstood buy Chrisians ( Pastors included.. They would often misquote Jesus's parable of the Elephant, Needle hole and Rich man, but that's a discussion for another day. The very title of the sermon today is about prosperity. Its to clarify just that. Am sure he's preached on hundreds of non financial topics too but this one remains highly misinterpreted. I also invite you to listen to Dr Myles Munroe videos on this topic. Thanks Pastor Jonathan for such a Spirit led sermon, truth and bravery in the exposition of God's Word.

Jonathan is following demons, teaching their doctrines. Want money? Be a Christian! Want 3 jets, be an "anointed" preacher. Want a beautiful spouse- believe. Want more? Give to him! And get for yourself! The disciples gave everything they had up to follow God. They were persecuted and most were killed for following Jesus. But Jonathan thinks they didn't believe enough??? And he can and will do better? This man is doing horrible things like many of his peers who teach this filth, too. This is truly a teaching of the last times. Will you be deceived, too? Repent while you still can. Give all to Jesus. He promises you the riches in heaven where you home is- not in this world.

The Word of God is true, the interpretation Jonathan Shuttleworth gives is not. We are under a better covenant, but it is not of this world. Instead of having wealth here, we will lay up treasures in Heaven. Where the Israelites had health, we shell have the Resurrection! This (the sermon) is a foolish and false teaching, not because of illwill or evil intent, but because people wish so badly to live in the world and still fallow Christ. But Christ says that's exactly what we can not do.
