really loved this! so much passion, and a very refreshing interpretation. can't wait to hear more recordings by him. that said, there are a lot of smears and note misses or rhythmic errors in this performance that I found really distracting
Listen to Nareh Afghamanyan's encore of this!!!!!!! Everyone can play the notes, pianissimos, ritartandos, romanticism, etc. but the ......gnome-like mischiefness? This fellow is musical & hard-working. But....he ain't been given God's gift like the truly great Arghamanyan from Armenia. There are few youngsters like her today. Prof.Tish Hill

I think Cohen was slightly better, though a lot of people won't like how many liberties he took, so this is a good alternative.
