I really like that Bruce seems to be really acting on his emotions instead of actually being calculating and careful. He’s really rough around the edges, and not actually thinking of the consequences of what he’s doing. Also, Bruce seems to be unknowingly turning Batman into a real legend, an urban myth. The criminals shoot him, but he’s unfazed by bullets, the Penguin blows him up, but he emerges, practically walking out of the flames like they were nothing. Soon the criminals of Gotham will think of him as some sort of demon, like a creature that can’t be stopped or killed, he’s just this brutal entity that punishes them. A bogey man.

One of the best visual pieces of films I have ever seen and this Movie may be nominated for an oscar. It is THAT good. WARNING this is NOT a kids movie. Throughout the movie, you will be REALLY thrilled as the actual mystery itself is so sticky, rich and very realistic reflecting todays world. On one hand one could says that this is very best superhero movies EVER made or at least equaling the DARK KNIGHT with Heath Ledger’s Joker But I am NOT sure that this is JUST a super Hero movie ; The movie THE BATMAN ... is more of a like HORROR MOVIE (Horror movie light) The writing and directing is almost second to none and Matt Reeves has done something that hasn't been done in a decade -- bring a batman on to the big screen while tweaking and making the character soooooooo unorthodox while also staying true to the source material and previous portrayals of the character. The acting from all the characters are spot on. The consensus early on was that Robert Patterson was NOT the right type of actor to do Batman. Boy did that turn out to be completely wrong !! Pattinson as THE BATMAN is still figuring and fighting his inner demons and his portrayal of the Batman is unbelievably good. He is able to express the dynamic of how Bruce Wayne is troubled by his past - we dont see a famous billionaire playboy. Instead we see a recluse as the movie opens with Wayne as a deeply disturbed angry violent man who only cares about going after the criminal element but not caring about people or the city --just his constant rage. Paul Dano (riddler) . What a performance from him. To me, his performance in the movie has to be one of the best as a batman antagonist and I wish I got to see more of him because he delivered and left no crumbs. The Riddler reminded me of the infamous Zodiac killer, and he shines in the role. His performance easily equals out of Heath Ledger as the Joker. Dano’s portrayal as the Riddler is so invigorating, you forget what is real. His take on this sadistic killer bent on puzzles, riddles and ciphers, it refreshes the character in a way that is exciting. warning Riddles and puzzles that seem solved ----are NOT!! Selina Kyle/Catwoman: When comparing to previous actresses who played Catwoman, Zoë Kravitz’s blows the rest out of the water. She was Catwoman at her truest form. She was nimble unlike any of the others. I enjoyed the Selina Kyle’s origin here and how she fit into the bigger picture of the puzzle. The cinematography and score and the colour palette is just so beautiful and just makes the already splendid writing and directing even better. Even thought the movie was 3 hours long, the pacing felt so perfect that it left me wanting for more in the end. The movie also interplays multiple villains and FINALLY takes into account that Batman is supposed to be the best detective in the world. There is a complex combination of action, politics, mystery, and narration which makes the movie great. The movie keeps you on your toes thinking when the next victim of the riddler will take place, and what truths will be uncovered about the corruption of Gotham city. There is a much higher level of realism and modernization to this movie than the ones before 10/10 for me, a perfect Batman movie that will be seem NOT as a cult classic BUT as a truly GREAT movie. This has revolutionized the Batman character in a way that has never been done before. Don't be surprised if this movie gets nominated for an Oscar. It is that fooking good. If you like adult light horror films ....Mysteries ....character development ....stories about our times and what the world is like…. don't walk to see this movie. Knock people on their ass and get them out of the way so you can see this movie --preferably at least two or three times.

Giacchino's theme, totally sounds like a rhythmic copy of Williams' Imperial March. The fact that you did a mashup that sounded perfectly matched proves it. I love Giacchino, but I have no idea how Giacchino got away with it without being sued. I know that similar sounding rhythms in a song/theme is considered allowable for various reasons, but don't you find this way too much the same?
@@dash-ryan That's exactly what I heard as well when I heard Giacchino's new Batman Theme. It sounds and feels like Imperial March. With that said, Imperial March was also "inspired" by Chopin's Funeral March. Like the great Igor Stravinsky saying: "Good Composers Imitate, Great Composers Steal" I'm not saying Williams' and Giacchino stole from Funeral March but they do certainly sound like they were inspired by it.
Seriously, not just the theme, but this really gives you a sense of a Batman/Darth Vader vibe…the color scheme, the way they move, just everything…and I love it!!
I LOVE that you mixed in the Elfman theme as well. Fits beautifully. Batman’s soundtrack always added another amazing layer to the films. I cannot wait for this one
The imperial march was added on purpose The person who made the imperial march for star wars is the same guy is who made the background score for the batman
God! I’ve been the biggest bat fan since 89. Danny Elfman’s score is Batman to me. Then this shit comes out. Now I read the comics and I just hear this jam. I can not wait to see this movie!
I’m just realizing that: Batman first saga theme is from Danny Elfmann Spiderman first saga there is from Danny Elfman Batman second saga theme is from Hans Zimmer Spider-Man (TAS) second saga theme is from Hans Zimmer Batman third saga theme is from Michael Giacchino Spider-Man third saga theme is from Michael Giacchino Amazing !
Amazing how people have fallen in love with this Batman with only two trailers which only takes up about 5 minutes in total. That’s a rarity. Most new things are hated. Roberts is going to be something special.
The Batman trailer made me feel a sense of dread rather than optimism when seeing the superhero on screen. That's exactly what Batman is supposed to be.
The Batman has his own version of the Imperial March. They went full Darth Vader with it and it’s perfect. That final scene with the Penguin sitting upside down in the trailer is everything the Batman character represents. When a criminal in Gotham sees The Bat-Man stalking his way towards them… he’s not some shiny super hero who’s come to stop them, he’s their worst fkng nightmare.
Fun fact: the bat symbol in the armour worn by batman in a specific storyline in comics was melted and made from the gun which was used to kill his parents....and this movie is also going in that direction 🔥🔥
i absolutely LOVE this song. it tells a story in itself. a presence that waits. it grows and builds up til its goal/climax, and then returns to the simpler piano, as if it accomplished its goal, and just goes back to being a watcher. this is AWESOME, and in less than 2 minutes no less!
When I first listened to the theme I thought it sounds a bit like Vader's theme and I thought it wouldn't suit Batman. But when I saw the trailer and the final shot. I was convinced.
I think Matt Reeves is giving us the Batman that shows how he became the legend that terrifies the evil doers of Gotham when they here his name. This Batman is the Baba Yaga of Gotham.
Holy hell that was FAST I had a feeling you'd be on this but not like that. When I saw the trailer I couldn't help but hear what sounded like the Imperial March of Batman and immediately thought of you.
I'm going to be absolutely real here. I'm a Marvel fan, always will be, never will stop being one. However, one thing I've noticed is where DC really shine is in solo films. Instead of trying to compete with Marvels expansive universe and constant crossovers, solo DC films have always shined in comparison. DC should refine what they are good at instead of competing. I'm not keen of things like Batman Vs Superman because it was clear it was trying to compare to Civil War, or Justice league trying to be the Avenegers. Films like Aquaman also feel like they exist for the main propose of supporting a larger universe which just doesn't suit DC. But films like Joker and probably this new Batman film is where they truly shine, because they are telling gritty and dark stories from a single view and do it perfectly. These are the DC films I can respect as an MCU fan and as a superhero fan in general, not the films which are trying to compete with Marvel. Let Marvel be the studio that has had time and experience to create an expansive universe and setting up huge stories and let DC be the studio which creates down to earth and realistic stories of the greatest heroes and villains from a single perspective and give a proper meaning and impact of the story.
I grew up with both. X-Men and Batman were my cartoons and comics. Batman v Superman had a lot of potential from the comic stories, but got way too saturated with Wonder Woman and doomsday. And it did seem DC was rushing to catch up to Marvel in the movie series. And I agree about DC's standalone films, they seem way better as that. Shazam was an enjoyable movie as well. Maybe, one day, way down the road, they can do some crossovers and what not. But for now, they should tell more stories like The Joker and The Batman. Grounded, dark, in the nitty gritty.
Gotta say, the start of this movie where Batman was fighting the criminals in the metro station gave me the chills as Batman’s theme plays This movie is a masterpiece, definitely will be the best movie I’ve watched this year

There is a much higher level of realism and modernization to this movie than the ones before
10/10 for me, a perfect Batman movie that will be seem NOT as
a cult classic BUT as a truly GREAT movie.
The last scene from the trailer is like how a bat sleeps in a cave which is upside down🥶
Oh damn.....
“FEAR… is a tool….”
“When that light hits the sky,
It’s not just a call….”
“It’s a warning….”

Am I the only one that keeps hearing the Imperial March within this theme? (Not Sam's version only, the og theme)
I'm pretty sure they did take some inspiration from it. Perhaps check out some trailer breakdown videos?
Considering the guy that made the music for Rogue One is doing the music for The Batman
@@HaloPrime212 I knew it, got Rogue One vibes from it.
They’re both based on the classic “Funeral March”
And sicario
This is one of the best trailer songs I've ever heard
I have literally listened this music without a stop since the main trailer came out. MASTERPIECE

Honestly I’m surprised this comment only has 9 likes even though it was posted 50 minutes ago. Get this man a shi- I mean some likes, yeah, likes.
@@dash-ryan That's exactly what I heard as well when I heard Giacchino's new Batman Theme. It sounds and feels like Imperial March.
With that said, Imperial March was also "inspired" by Chopin's Funeral March.
Like the great Igor Stravinsky saying: "Good Composers Imitate, Great Composers Steal"
I'm not saying Williams' and Giacchino stole from Funeral March but they do certainly sound like they were inspired by it.
I'm not sure if you did it purposely but i heard that cheeky hint of imperial march
@@jojey1430 you have great ears!
I mean I like the Nirvana theme music mixed with this but like the main theme for the Batman is badass in every possible way and I love it
This is really badass. During the fighting sequences, I got chills. How brutal he was taking the thugs out.
1:05 nice, he snuck in the imperial march!! Nice work, I wouldn't have noticed they're only 1 note different without that!
Seriously, not just the theme, but this really gives you a sense of a Batman/Darth Vader vibe…the color scheme, the way they move, just everything…and I love it!!
Strong Imperial likeness in this song I detect.
This movie is gonna be brutal and I’m gonna love it
Samuel after a trailer drops : *Well here I am*
*"New trailer releases"*
2 minutes later...
*Samuel Kim has posted a new video*
*"Trailer music epic version (attack on titan style)"*
Lol
This might just be one of the the greatest stories we will ever see this movie is gonna be a masterpiece. Man what a time to be alive 🙏🏾🔥
this had been playing in my head all day after watching the trailer. those two chords are so menacing.
I LOVE that you mixed in the Elfman theme as well. Fits beautifully. Batman’s soundtrack always added another amazing layer to the films. I cannot wait for this one
This sounds like it'd mix really well with Imperial March, since the melody is incredibly similar.
It did
No

The theme of The Batman sounds basically like if we remove some notes from the Imperial March.
The imperial march was added on purpose
The person who made the imperial march for star wars is the same guy is who made the background score for the batman
Been waiting for this!! Finally!!!! Such a badass Batman theme. Probably my favorite one too. Let's go Robert!!!!
God! I’ve been the biggest bat fan since 89. Danny Elfman’s score is Batman to me. Then this shit comes out. Now I read the comics and I just hear this jam. I can not wait to see this movie!
I’m just realizing that:
Batman first saga theme is from Danny Elfmann
Spiderman first saga there is from Danny Elfman
Batman second saga theme is from Hans Zimmer
Spider-Man (TAS) second saga theme is from Hans Zimmer
Batman third saga theme is from Michael Giacchino
Spider-Man third saga theme is from Michael Giacchino
Amazing !
Best DC movie so far
This movie brought out every part of batman. The detective, the feared vengeful hero, the human side and Bruce Wayne. Very dark movie done very well.
This batman is less like a vigilante and more like an Apex predator. This is how Batman should be. I can't wait
That subtle classic Batman theme song hiding in this is just a cherry on top!
Amazing how people have fallen in love with this Batman with only two trailers which only takes up about 5 minutes in total. That’s a rarity. Most new things are hated. Roberts is going to be something special.
That scene, Batman coming out of flames, somewhat like in Batman Gotham Knight anime movie, scary as hell.
when they saw at DC Fandome 2021, I was very hyped for the Upcoming film! They did an amazing job including you who made the epic version so far.
The Batman trailer made me feel a sense of dread rather than optimism when seeing the superhero on screen.
That's exactly what Batman is supposed to be.
Rule number 1: never ask Batman what he supposed to be :)
This is insanely insane.
I have not stopped listening to this! Phenomenal piece of work !
Fun fact: the bat symbol in the armour worn by batman in a specific storyline in comics was melted and made from the gun which was used to kill his parents....and this movie is also going in that direction 🔥🔥
All I hear is his footsteps walking from the shadows
i absolutely LOVE this song. it tells a story in itself. a presence that waits. it grows and builds up til its goal/climax, and then returns to the simpler piano, as if it accomplished its goal, and just goes back to being a watcher. this is AWESOME, and in less than 2 minutes no less!
All these Epic songs for The Batman make me so hype and I hope I don't disappoint when I finally watch it.
When I first listened to the theme I thought it sounds a bit like Vader's theme and I thought it wouldn't suit Batman. But when I saw the trailer and the final shot. I was convinced.
When i listen to this, i just see the ending shot of the new trailer. This Batman is going to be savage
Immmmm da batmannnn
Immmmm da batmannnn
Immmmm da batmannnn
Immmmm da batmannnn
Seen this movie 3 times, already....gives me the goosebumps evertime
The New Era Batman for the Metaverse.
You could almost replace The Batman with a Michael Myers type villain and it works in the scenes. So. Damn. Good. Cannot wait!
Finally they keep pushing him to how dark the character really is. He is the embodiment of Vengeance and fear.
Penguin- I got You! I GOT YOU!
Batman- NOPE 🔥
0:50〜
Danny Elfman's batman?
I loved it!
Every time he adds the glimpse of Michael Kheatons Batman the it gives me chills. Also I heard Darth Vader for a split sec there
1:11 onwards it kinda sounds like imperial march
My workouts at the gym would be terribly dull and boring without your mixes. Thanks so much for sharing your time and talent with us.
I think Matt Reeves is giving us the Batman that shows how he became the legend that terrifies the evil doers of Gotham when they here his name. This Batman is the Baba Yaga of Gotham.
Maddening terror in the hearts of all! Or at least that’s how I feel when I drive with the windows down playing this theme song
Holy hell that was FAST
I had a feeling you'd be on this but not like that. When I saw the trailer I couldn't help but hear what sounded like the Imperial March of Batman and immediately thought of you.
Chills man
This is what batman should be
I'm going to be absolutely real here. Let Marvel be the studio that has had time and experience to create an expansive universe and setting up huge stories and let DC be the studio which creates down to earth and realistic stories of the greatest heroes and villains from a single perspective and give a proper meaning and impact of the story.
this is so true, i'm also a diehard marvel fan like you, but i still agree with everything you just said
I grew up with both.
Well said . Hopefully I see dc get some respect again in this decade
im a fan of both. but the reason I give DC a hard time is because of the majority of the toxic fans.
Love how you snuck the TAS/89 theme in there, so hyped for this movie!
Gotta say, the start of this movie where Batman was fighting the criminals in the metro station gave me the chills as Batman’s theme plays
This movie is a masterpiece, definitely will be the best movie I’ve watched this year
