- In today's video, I want to show you how I pack my wayks daypack for a one-week trip to Switzerland. Minimalist packing is really important to me because it makes traveling so much more enjoyable. In this video, I share what I pack, my thoughts behind the things I bring and why I love minimalist packing so much.

omg i will never get enough of minimal packing videos :Dd it gives me feeling of so much freedom
I feel the same way☺
Finally a minimalist packing...not all those videos titled "minimalist" that include one backpack and one carry on suitcase. I live in Romania and I only travel with one 20 liters backpack and it doesn't matter if the vacation is 4 days or 2 weeks.
This was glorious. You and I pack the same way! I don't even own a piece of luggage that needs to be checked. We did a 2-week honeymoon in Italy, and all I brought was my carry-on and my purse-and no sneaking anything into my husband's bag, either. You're 100% right that travel shouldn't be weighed down by luggage. Another great video. Thank you so much!
PS. Your hair looks fine! :)
My main travel rule is, no matter how long the trip will be, I can only pack my backpack and my daily purse.
I spent almost a month already with this kind of packing set, but my next trip will be longer than a month and it will be on winter!
Maybe, for this one, packing will be hardcore but I'll surely try my best. :)
Love your content, Lia!
You are a marvel! Sensible packing. Not too much but enough to be comfortable. Love the backpack. It’s great to go hands free. 👏
Thank you I am so glad you liked the video ☺️
minimalist packing tip: start with the luggage/bag & then gather; starting with most important items. when i pack my bag the bottom has clothes which i won't need until i get to the place i'm going & the top has "travel entertainment" items & liquids.
sometimes i even overpack with a 20L backpack, it lasts me a 7-day trip & it can take me further.
i don't even have luggage that is "needs to be checked" size.
Your backpack makes it look like you’re going on a fun adventure, as opposed to lugging wheeled luggage around. 🌿
So inspiring! Enjoyed today's video.
I am glad you liked it! ☺️
I completely agree about packing light! I try to pack light and I only carry a backpack but I always still feel like I could have or I wish I could have packed even less because I hate carrying stuff.
This video is a nice birthday present! I love it, as always, and will definitely get some inspiration/tips out of it!
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday! And I am glad you enjoyed it! ☺
Thank you for all your good wishes!
Oh and some offtopic question: Your Monstera plant in the background looks so nice :) Would you mind telling me briefly how you care for it? And how often you water it? My monstera would be so thankful....😉
Thank you but I have to say I think it looks better on video than in person... I need to care better for it. I once watered it too much which led to rotting roots, I definitely don't recommend that ☺ not too dark, not too big of a pot and a nice shower or wiping down the leaves every now and then is certainly good. Other than that I have no idea 😂
Thank you, still!
I am so glad you asked this question! I was thinking the same thing : ) I hope your plant is thriving
oooj this is perfect! im going on a week-long trip tomorrow and was struggling with the packing :)
Very interesting video. Now I pack my bag to travel. Next week I will go to city Samara by train. It takes about 14-16 hours in train. My travel will be for 4 days. I am going to walk in city and enjoy Volga river. Also I will meet my aunt and cousins. I want to take most lightly bag as it possible:) And almost no extra clothes and shoes)) Thank you for video.
I plan to visit France for a month and will pack everything except what I wear on the plane in my Hedgren urban gear bag. Mostly light summer wear.
Same here, majority of stuff taken is not mine, I’m just taking them one way home or for my relatives :D my stuff takes less than half of baggage space
Love such videos. Thanks a lot 😊!
I have a question, what bag if any do you us during the trip. When I’ve done minimal traveling only having one bag has been a issue, it the reason I’m looking in to packing cubes so I can remove the stuff easily when I get where I’m staying and when use the rucksack as a lighter day bag.
Great video!!
so inspirierend! *.*
I wonder, what is the book you bring? Just curious. Have a nice time in Swiss.
I will share the title in my upcoming monthly in&out video, I also just can't remember right now ☺️
Great inspo!!
Im super worried because i usually travel light as well, but im spending the whole month of July in Europe this year, going through different places, and i really don’t know what to take!!
If anyone has suggestions, please please reply to my comment! I really do need help!
You can look into something like the Scrubba washbag for doing your laundry. I’ve just got it and tested it at home and it’s great. That way you don’t need so many clothes.
I did similar trip, over 10y ago but still...
Shorts/t-shirts/dresses - hot weather clothes fine for 90% of the time but take 1 trousers/jeans and sweater/cardi for the odd cooler days (we had maybe 3 or 4 of those days in our month away).
Watch Adventures with Sarah, she's a 20 year veteran tour guide who only packs a backpack for a month's travel.
Marlino wool socks dry overnight and i also take quick dry underwear, 3 socks 3 underwear, 2 t shirts quick dry

💓💓💓
Next time you travel , you could try taking no luggage :-) that would be an interesting video :-)
Next time I'll definitely take some luggage but I'd love to take (almost) no luggage at least once to try it out ☺ so maybe there will be a video like that
@@ecofriendlia If you are going somewhere hot then it is easy. I spent 2 weeks in Spain and only took what I wore (swimshorts sandals t-shirt hat) and stuffed essentials (passport money phone toothbrush sunglasses) into my travel vest :-) give it a try :-)
btw digitalizing can be not very eco while it makes co2 or something like that, u could make video about that topic and minimalism that woul be cool :)
🌟🤗
will u wear two paur of socks all the week?
I wore one on the travel day and had three extra pairs, so basically one pair for two days and if I feel like all of them need to be washed I can handwash them ☺️
No makeup or hair tools?
No, because I don't use make-up and have short hair and don't use any products except for shampoo 😊 but that can of course be different for everybody which is totally fine 😊
That is not a small backpack
Can you please tell us more about that el. provider? We pay for some green energy, but I am not completly sure that we made a good choice.
