RIP Wayne Static. I'm eternally grateful I got to see him and these guys live IRL back before he passed. During the gig he got himself and his bandmates on stage all a shot of vodka to toast the city I live in and the band itself. Props to you sir, rock on in Heaven
Machine was the first album I ever owned at the age of 14. Wayne, you are the reason I love rock as much as I do. I sit here with a bottle of vodka literally crying as I listen to this. I hope in death you know just how much your music meant to people in life. RIP doesn't even come close. We lost a true underrated legend in you. See you in another life.
+Scott Poole well said buddy!! i saw them at family values about 10 yrs ago, along with staind (yeesh) stone temple pilots, deadsy (big wup) and Linkin psrk but wayne knocked it outa the park!!!
My daughter yelled I hate this while playing MarioKart and it reminded me of this song. Had to show it to her. I miss the good ol music days. The 2000’s paved the way for the metal music industry.
This music would probably increase the intensity of Mario Kart, so getting hit with a blue shell would escalate from "I hate this!" to the Switch flying through a window and several punch marks landing on the TV.
I LOVE THAT HE WAS ABLE TO PUT SUCH AN EMOTIONAL AND PAINFUL FEELING THAT YOU CAN EITHER CRY TO OR DESTROY STUFF TO INTO A SONG THIS HEAVY. THIS IS WHAT ARTS ABOUT R.I.P.
Same dude, never thought ide get to see them after wayne passed, it was amazing, the gig was damn near hypnotic and the energy from them and the croud was infectious! Also the support acts were all on the top of their game
I was in 8th grade when I seen the last copy of Machine sitting on the shelves of Bestbuy when you 1st walked in the store. I grabbed that copy and held it so close to my heart, until i checked out with it! striaght to my dads cd player in the car. too my room and then played Tony Hawks Skater 2 with a BADASS real sound track!
RIP Wayne. Say what up for us to Dime, Lynn Strait, Dave Williams and all the others up there and thank you for the music that got a lot of us through tough times!!!!\m/
I cannot believe its almost been 2 years since he died....I remember being 15 years old getting to the show 3 hours early so I can be in the front row. A shot to Wayne Static, our hero
ending 2023 and I still come around to listen to Static-X and their old songs. First time I listened to them was on a PS2 game, do not recall if it was Need for Speed or what.
I saw Wayne Static climb the stage in 2004 at Lubbock Texas. It was amazing. My first big show. I was 14. He climbed 30-40 ft in the air. Static X was kicked off stage when he came down. He sang the entire time he climbed.
Hey JP, just think, at least they left legacies in their music, let them live forever in their art. I know I'll be listening to Static X for the next couple of days.
This was the FIRST song I heard from Static-X... I remember hearing it from SSX-Tricky, and when the song came on all my attention was geared towards to listening to this song, i really didn't care about the game. This song was the Gateway for me becoming a life time fan of Static-X and of Wayne Static... It was on my bucket list of things to do in life, was to see Static-X, but they split up. But I still wanted to see Wayne Static live, and try to get a picture with him... But now it will never happen unfortunately. Sad that Tony Campos didn't get to settle his differences with Wayne before he passed. Felt like I lost a best friend that I never met. Wayne's music touched us all, and helped us through the roughest times in our lives and created great memories that we all will never forget. RIP Wayne Static, rest easy friend...
@@ih2598 Well, I have a feeling I'm in to a " status quo" somehow - it doesn't get any better - or worse - ( at least ... ). I could say that I feel like I'm stucked and I can't get out of that “ dead zone ,” but I’m still trying my best to get it better. I'm trying to get my life back into my own hands ... Anyhow - I want to thank You for Your attention anyway ... 🙏 🌻
Amazing song, I saw them live in Chicago in '99, damn way back in the day at the Metro and they were sick live. Older Static-X=better Machine & Wisconsin Death Trip were their best CDs.
Wayne you were the first band I've ever seen live when I was 13. You played at ozzfest 2010 at alpine and You put on a show that shattered the heavens. There's no other artist like you then or today and I'm so glad you took my first concert virginity card. Thank you for all you did
My favorite band of the late 90s/early 2000s is Static X and I found out years later his name is Wayne Wells. I am a Wells. He's a distant relative. I was so sad when he died. I crie every time.

Anyone else agree that even after years of not even thinking about it... we just suddenly want to hear it?
Definitely just had a moment where it popped in my head, so I dropped everything to play this song right meow actually
Just now
Absolutely...just happened...and I've played 3 times lol
And following in a long tradition, after not hearing it for at least 5 years, here I am.
I guess I'm kinda off topic but do anyone know of a good site to watch new movies online?
One of the most memorable vocalists of all time.
RIP Wayne Static...
This look was the coolest for teenage me. RIP King
if your listening to Static X in 2025 you're probably old enough to remember when MTV played music videos 🔥
That and also when MTV2 only played music videos and it was a of heavy metal. Now all I see is reality shows.
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Correct
Absolutely 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Omg ur right lol
I miss this guy... so much energy in his music... and so many songs to vibe with... rip
ahead of their time fr
RIP Wayne Static. I'm eternally grateful I got to see him and these guys live IRL back before he passed. During the gig he got himself and his bandmates on stage all a shot of vodka to toast the city I live in and the band itself. Props to you sir, rock on in Heaven
My favorite from Static-X.
RIP Wayne, and your beautiful hair
I love his hair n beard
RIP Mr. Static, you won't be forgotten in my lifetime.

I agree
Yeah, man. I miss Wayne.
Wisconsin death trip was my first CD when it came out back in 2000. I worked summer job to get it and my first CD player.
My daughter yelled I hate this while playing MarioKart and it reminded me of this song. Had to show it to her. I miss the good ol music days. The 2000’s paved the way for the metal music industry.
Nice
How did she react to the music?
This music would probably increase the intensity of Mario Kart, so getting hit with a blue shell would escalate from "I hate this!" to the Switch flying through a window and several punch marks landing on the TV.
That's Bad Ass!!!
Truly one of the most unique voices ever. One of my favorites. He was gone far to soon.
I LOVE THAT HE WAS ABLE TO PUT SUCH AN EMOTIONAL AND PAINFUL FEELING THAT YOU CAN EITHER CRY TO OR DESTROY STUFF TO INTO A SONG THIS HEAVY. THIS IS WHAT ARTS ABOUT R.I.P.
A world without Wayne Static? THIS IS NOT!!! A WORLD I WANNA LIVE IN!!!😢
I HATE THIS!!! WORLD😠🤘
2019 and I just saw this live in person on the Regeneration tour, it was a dream come true. Long Live Static X RIP Wayne
Same dude, never thought ide get to see them after wayne passed, it was amazing, the gig was damn near hypnotic and the energy from them and the croud was infectious! Also the support acts were all on the top of their game
You saw the cash grab then
I’m 15 years old and thanks to my dad I’m keeping this tune alive
You are? I'm 63 and I am too! 😅
Literally, what I feel in 2024 😢. Thanks 🙏🏻 Wayne.
I was so fortunate to see them in concert 7 times.
I was also fortunate to see them live supporting for Korn in Dublin back in June 2004, and it was their first ever gig in Ireland too at the time 🙂
Damn!!!!! Right on🤘
Truly a sad day in my life and in music. R.I.P. Wayne Static. Evil Disco forever!

That story made me cry...
Hell yeah dude!! Static-X rocks the house! I wish I could have seen them before when Wayne Static was alive. :(
I was lucky enough to see him at the last Ozzfest in Kansas. They owned the stage especially Wayne. I loved that I got to be second row to him.
great story!
RIP Wayne. Say what up for us to Dime, Lynn Strait, Dave Williams and all the others up there and thank you for the music that got a lot of us through tough times!!!!\m/
12 years later, I still love Wayne's music
I miss going to their shows, those where so much fucking fun.
I'm 55 n I went to one a long time back with my son he was not even very old like 14 n we loved it
One of the rare bands that actually sounded better live than they did on their albums. That’s one show I’ll never ever forget 🤘
I cannot believe its almost been 2 years since he died....I remember being 15 years old getting to the show 3 hours early so I can be in the front row. A shot to Wayne Static, our hero

I'll be listening when I'm 100 years old if I make it that far. Rip the legend😓
+AndroidWarrior17 Wayne Static didn't die. God just took him to heaven 'cause he needed some good music.
This song always reminds me of being in college over 10 years ago. I'd listen to it in my truck while driving home from class. RIP Wayne.
RIP Wayne, first song I ever heard by them.

I jumped on stage and shook his hand in Milwaukee WI, its not an epic tale, but it was awesome for me.
Are you sure it was SSX Tricky? I believe it was actually Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder.
Who gives a fuck?
krims0n70 Do you always get this butthurt when you are wrong about something?

Invincible music brought to you by static x. 20 years and it's still as fucking awesome as ever, music that lasts a lifetime 🤘
Discovered this amazing band back in 2017 when I was a senior in high school there was no going back 🤘🏼🎸🥁
I loved this song and the whole album for many years, when I was younger. R.I.P. man...

this song KICKS ASS .
Temazo! Descansa en paz Wayne, gracias por tantos momentazos.
Rip my man wayne. Left too soon. This is still on my playlist.
No band has EVER touched how good they were live. It really depresses me that I cant show my friends how insane they are in concert
They still put on a genuinely incredible show. Go see em!!
Awwww yeeeeeeah, Shaun Palmer pro snowboarding. Had an awesome soundtrack

As much as I enjoy technical, complex, heartfelt music... I cannot get enough of Static-X! \m/
you're in good company, Wayne ! RIP !! Cliff Burton, Dimebag, Jeff Hangman

This is not
This is not
This is not
I hate this
Lines and the light stream
Screaming by me scream
Burned down
Not me you see me suffer
Haunted by your spirit
Undead by your spit
Taunted by yourself alive
Dazed and burning state
Hazed and spinning fate
Dazed and burning
I say I can't come
You say this ain't home
Hating this I mouth your name
This is not my life
This is not my home
This is not me
I hate this
(Repeat)
Your voice in my mind
Come home it ain't time
Burned down
Not me you see me suffer
Solace to inspire
Lowness to my life
Taunted by yourself alive
Dazed and burning state
Hazed and spinning fate
Dazed and burning
I say I can't come
You say this ain't home
Hating this I mouth your name
This is not my life
This is not my home
This is not me
I hate this
(Repeat 3x)
I hate this
(Repeat 3x)
Not all heroes wear capes

RIP Wyane. Staic-X never fails to get my blood flowing 🤘
I’d kill to have ever gone to a Static x concert. I remember buying Wisconsin death trip back in 99.
I was in the 8th grade
Same!
Rest in Peace Wayne. Loved the tracks.
Static X,Korn and Coal Chamber all the way!
Static KoRn Chamber X
Korn are the best

Coal chamber is the best
Korn is not in that genre
