I genuinely love Bowser’s portrayal in Origami King. He helps Mario without needing to be convinced, never attacks him, and even helps out to save the kingdom instead of doing it for his own benefit like in every other game. Bowser in Origami King is a good guy, and even after the kingdom is saved, he doesn’t try to take over the kingdom or take Peach. Instead he celebrates the Origami Festival with his son and has fun too. All of this is further emphasized by the fact that it’s the only Mario RPG in which Bowser is never fought in any way or form.
It's really cool that Bowser works with Mario and his friends on occasions mostly! If that's getting his castle back by defeating Fawful and Dark Bowser from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, or Helping Mario and his crew to save Sparks and save the universe from Cursa, Bowser got your back! So basically, he's an anti-hero. And he'll help Mario and the rest of his friends in the future, so stay tuned for that!
Difference between "Mario is Bowser's enemy." and "Bowser hates Mario." is: If you hate someone, this person is only annoying to you. You see this person as an enemy, you think this person is important for your life, despite the reasons are negative (a friendship with negative feelings).
One thing that is 100% true is that Bowser is genuinely a good king. If you take a look at his history, he genuinely cares for his minions and his minions in return are very loyal to him. He just have flaws like obsession of kidnapping Peach and hate for Mario. If he somehow get over that, he'd be a valuable ally.
In some ways it’s usually because they both have the same goal. Bowser is kind of the guy who doesn’t like being the hero, but will do it when absolutely necessary to protect the things or the people he loves most
Uh no bowser did not work with mario and luigi in bowser's inside story he didn't even know they were inside him and when he did in the end he was mad he isn't there ally he didn't know it was the inside him

Yeah, but there are a few games where Mario was facing off against a threat more powerful than Bowser, yet Bowser still DOESN'T help him anyway.
