+jesse ruiz Only if the channel gave him full control of the show, Like the editing and all of that, Mark's videos and vlogs are just out of this world he really knows how to keep you entertained throughout the video, Plus he doesn't forget that the majority of the people are watching the channel just to explore cuisines so he doesn't loose focus on that. I'm with marie on this.
My respect and regards to Fadi for being such an excellent host and tour guide for this entire trip. What an amazing and fantastic effort he did. And to Ying for her increased participation in front of the camera, We do very much appreciate that extra effort knowing you prefer not to be so exposed. Mark ! another fabulous video of the highest standard in what must have been difficult at times, What a magnificent journey you and your team took us on.
Couldn’t agree more. He is amazing indeed! One of the best hosts so far, even after seeing all of recents Mark’s videos. So respectful and calm. Maybe he is not in the video blogging business. Most of the recent hosts eg in Mexico and some other places, all they want is to get advertised via Mark, which is ok of course, but first respect and show some professionalism and then you can promote your work as well… in a more collaborative way. Anyway. Great videos from Mark and his wife, amazing experience they are offering now that we cannot travel.
I have never been but it's one of the places I wanted to see very much. Mark wiens needs his own travel show on television. His personality is so endearing.
It is magnificent. The hike to the treasury is downhill and fairly easy. The hike back out to the parking lots was not so easy for me at 63 yrs. Fortunately, there is rescue by golf cart, for a fee. Jordan is a rugged country. A must see is Wadi Rum, which I enjoyed more. They filmed the Mars scenes there for the movie The Martian. I would do that part again
Love this series!! It's teaching me so much about a place I did not know anything about!! Love to see the area and the food looks fantastic!! Keep up the good work!!
I felt really emotional watching this.. (I dont know why) but oh wow Petra is just amazingly breath taking and to think how it was made so beautifully detailed so many many years ago without modern technology. Wow, I'm blown away. Hopefully I am lucky enough to visit there one day.
Awesome..... Jordon is absolutely amazing !!!!! Definitely a place I would like to visit..... The food looks very delicious..... And, the people are so warm and friendly..... ✨
I cant help but smile watching your videos :) you are so positive and passionate about food. Loved watching your trip to our beautiful Jordan! 🇯🇴 God bless
+Mark Wiens Hi Mark I love your videos I been watching you since the beginning 2015, your amazing! I have one question what camera do you use for vlogging and recording the food I really need one
Fantastic narration!I love to see mark eating food. When he relishes food,he inclines to his right, bending a little. It's a fantastic view to watch. Thanks mark for your fantastic VDOs.
It's so amazing and fascinating how these people long time ago were able to carve out of the rock with such precision with just simple tools. So cool! Hope I can visit Jordan someday!
Oh my god my mouth was watering when you broke apart the lamb and fish! Makes me want to go to Jordan now! Can't wait for the Korea videos, keep up the amazing content Mark!
Thank you to the Jordan Tourism Board, Fahdi and the Jordanian people. Poor Ying was so out of breath for the 'tea' shot....and she looked positively exhausted at the final dinner. Hope y'all got to fly first class back to home so she could sleep on their fabulous planes. Have watched first class/business class of many airlines lol...but a dream for me ;-( Thanks everyone!!!! And the outtakes you have been doing at the end are priceless!
Petra is such a cool looking place, I'd love to visit there someday!! Funny you mention parsley being refreshing, aside from being used as a garnish to fill a plate, it used to be commonly eaten after a meal to refresh and cleanse the palate! Really awesome video once again, thank you so much for sharing your adventures!!
i guess im asking the wrong place but does someone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot the account password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me
This Jordan series has been absolutely fantastic! The culture, the people, the food, the sights, the history...beautiful! Thank you for sharing. Continued blessings and safe travels to you and Ying.
Thanks for filling in the gaps! Just returned from Petra and although we had a local guide, your comments really fill some of the history, tradition and especially the local food!
I really love all of your videos Mark.but I love those with ur visit to the middle east because it shows the other part that the western media doesnt show about that place the culture, the hospitality, the history and the kindness of the people there who welcome everyone and take pride in their welcoming traditions
From Hawaii to Kenya, Ethiopia to South east Asia, Japan hv been watching your vlogs, all of'em and watching this now is so educational and ur videography and editing is so up level now Mark. Like some one sd in ur comments before, high time for you to start a feature on Thai tv now. Well done is half begun man. Stay blessed always.
Thanks Mark for this exciting trip of Petra, I love your culinary odysseys, and this detour of Petra added a novel spice to an overall delectable experience.
very nice, first day I made hummus and eggplant dip, second day tahini sauce, arabic bread and chicken, and tomorrow I will try the turn over pot, zucchini dip.
fooul is eated by bread mark :) its an amazing dish but not perfectly cooked at hotels you should try some of authentic fooul from street places there is many kind of fooul's out there with different kitchen background cook style egyptian , sudanian , lebanon's saudian , dont miss it out :)
Mark, what a wonderful tour of Petra, I would not ever get to that part of the world and its interesting to see these great columns and walls. How people lived so long ago and now its for tours through the paths of history. The delicious food is food I would love to taste with all the spices. Thank you Mark.
Oh no!!! Jordan series done? Damn! I've just bought parsley and tomatoes to make taboulleh. And I've got a half eaten pot of hummus. How am I going to eat them whilst watching your Jakarta series?
simple cooking for a simple life .... the southern part of jordan that Petra belong to is hard rock mountains desert kind of area... the basket of food in jordan is in north HORAAN plains which given most Roman Empire most there wheat and the west Part of jordan by river of jordan which has a fertile land ...
In middleeast lots of countries have two weathers hot and cold in same times whic is rare lol but in yemen u can drive 1 houres and u will be in desert another 1 houres and u will be in green cold land

Thank you Mark for the detailed video. We are planning a visit to Jordan this EID break. Your video is definitely helping us plan better. We love watching you eat Jordan's food.
dude I wish the television network would pick you up you would make a great show multiple seasons your talent with the food arts and culture
+jesse ruiz If he did that then the network would make him do it there way...and I think way he does it is more informative...I am just saying..hehe
+jesse ruiz absolutely ....
THEY WOULD MESS HIM UP HE NEEDS TO KEEP DOING IT THIS WAY UNLESS HE GETS EVERYTHING HE WANTS IN THE AGREEMENT FOR NETWORK SHOW
jesse ruiz agree!
My respect and regards to Fadi for being such an excellent host and tour guide for this entire trip. What an amazing and fantastic effort he did.
