Though this jumping mechanic (X-X-🔼-🔼) is introduced so much later in the franchise since you have to get the Don (X) drumb first before the song. Anyway tangent aside, defending, attacking, and moving for the newbie is already good enough unless the game will get convoluted from the start. Sure sometimes defending just not cutting it but there's actually a play through in RUclips where the guy only use defending song and still beat the game with lots of his army surviving. Meaning don't pick a fight unless you're strong enough 💀
