OH MY GOD thank you so much! I have been looking for this exact video with these instruction to do what I needed. The aligning thing where I had to do it with my mouse was so annoying, but you found a way to fix that too!. Literally, after 2 weeks of searching, I found the right video. :)

Hi there thank you so much for the video! it works for me, but there is a small problem. The right column seems to only show the text box but not 2 images that i have put in one the left. I have wrapped text and put in front of text and copy paste but it does not show up on right column

Thank you for your comment. Do you mean a two-sided business card?

Neat video. Is there a reason for overlaying textboxes onto shapes, rather than just adding the text onto the shape? Allows easier manual alignment I guess?

Exactly, the alignment is the reason to do it this way. With text inside the shape, you can set the position with margins. With separate text box, you can use either mouse or arrow keys for precise alignment.

Hey how could I get my Microsoft word like yours I’m on the website on google office and it’s not looking the same and I can’t find some things

You have to use the desktop application. The Word online has only limited functions, unfortunatelly.

I wish you would have slowed down. This is helpful but I have to keep backing things up because you're going too fast

Thank you for your feedback. Please use playback controls for now, and I will try to slow down in the next videos. Thank you for your understanding!

Thanks so much for this great video!
One problem that I have is that when I copy and paste the aligned boxes, they align well underneath but they don't show up in the right column. Instead they make a second layer on top of the existing ones on the left. The text thingy is in the correct place on the right, though. But somehow the boxes stay left if I don't drag them to the right. Any ideas are appreciated :)

Right click > Wrap Text > In front of text. Does that help?

On the app it doesn’t do two columns and on the online website for word columns doesn’t come up for me

You need to use desktop app, not browser one.

Well, it depends.. I would not say annoyingly, but I agree that it is complicated a little :)

When giving a tutorial, you are feeding information to people who want to learn a skill you are obviously sharing.
If you are teaching someone who knows nothing about driving but start of speeding down the road @100mph, they will either not learn or take very long to acquire the necessary knowledge.
If I have to give a tutorial at the cost of rushing through it like that it's better if I allow someone who is a little more skilled at delivering the information a little more effectively
    i absolutely cannot follow along!
    Thumbs down bro...

Hi Matthew, I’m sorry to hear about your bad experience. Perhaps it would be better to start with some simpler tutorials first? I have plenty of them on this channel. This one is little bit more specific and advanced. Also, if you find yourself stuck, feel free to ask questions. I’m happy to help and so are other viewers. Good luck with your next creation!
