Right place right time for the guy wanting advice! The ability to stop your day and educate him without an ego or being "too busy" is why i support you guys. Likely made his year learning from you two. Kudos!
I like Gary a lot . Straight forward business guy without bs He is so knowledgeable and it would actually be very interesting to hang around him for some time You will learn a lot from him
18:13 my favorite part of the video. He is so sharp and fast. Amazing how he can calculate custom pieces and turn them into a deal. The key is he knows what he can sell them for at the next show.
24:00 I actually really love the GS spring drive chrono gmt. It's so big but it packs so much function and features into a light titanium case. From a nerd, engineering stand point it's a beautiful watch
I loved, I mean LOVED LOVED LOVED that time you took to talk to the kid in Ariel's store who was looking to understand how to get his start. Not for the info you gave him, even though that was cool to listen to, but for the fact you shared and how you shared. He obviously struck you a kind of way that made you want to take the time to connect, and watching his face as he listened it was obvious that he really was listening, really did appreciate it, was soaking it in. What a way to help a young kid not just maybe get a start in watches, but in whatever line he ends up - to realize that there are people who will get in his corner if he presents himself right. I fucking loved it. LOVED it. Great episode guys.
if possible, please keep us updated on the iced out PP I'm really curious to see/know what happens with it... Would also love to see how it looks when they pull out all the diamonds (since im probably expecting much bigger holes than it will have)
Adrian’s dad needs his own show 😂 I feel like foreign older guys from any country are just entertaining I love talking to all my uncles from Dominican Republic they have so much knowledge and personality
Hahaha you know I would love to! I always have had so much fun doing that. Social media management takes up most of my time here, but thankfully we have Nicole who’s crushing it next to Gary!
@@ninaricccci you killing it no matter what! Your hard work is the ladder that will elevate you to greatness. Keep climbing and rising above every challenge that comes your way!
The first Patek - he’s probably making £120k because he bought it at retail - the client cultivated a relationship with an AD which involves making losses on other pieces and generally spending your time visiting them to land these pieces, now you’re mad he’s cashing in on that and you’re only making your margin that you would on most other pieces ?
Im glad someone said something. Really tacky take from Adrian. Sounds like a little child who didn’t get his way. Wonder if Adrian would think the same way if he bought the watch and had a dealer saying “ahhh broo your making 120k on that not fair”. Pretty sad you should just keep those comments to yourself. Making 10K on a flip isn’t bad FOH with that.
Let me clarify… There is absolutely nothing wrong with making “7k” on a watch. Your missing the point…it’s basic math to make 3% gross margin on a watch that we will have to polish, and stand by and honor with our guarantee and warranty…will most likely result in a negative should a 6 figure perpetual calendar require ANY sort of mechanical maintenance. It’s a risk management on every level we must adhere to…your only seeing the 7k upside but not looking at the potential downside of covering a Patek Perpetual calendar under warranty…
@@adriantaskin that makes sense and you should be properly compensated to ensure you make a reasonable margin but it was just the comment on the client making 120k that didn’t come across well. Best of luck with your business this year
@@zendm4436probably 5 to 6k. I've serviced my royal oak offshore twice and it was 3k without a polish, a Patek perp calendar would be serious money to service.
I havent been getting notifications that you guys have uploaded a video for atleast a month now .. im always like 3 or 4 days late till i realize i havent seen a video in awhile. Hope youtube isnt playing games with ur channel
Good for that kid tbh getting free advice from one the best in the business anyone who can get advice from a top dog in their business even by paying for their time is lucky
Love the content guys. I got a question for you when looking for a unique watch scrolling crono24 I came a across these dlc coated watches so my question is how should coating a watch affect the price apposed to seeing after market diamond watch which dramatically decrease the value of a watch Thanks keep up the good work
7K net on a possible 120K retail watch is not enough, you will end up losing much more on that watch. Just my own thoughts, I think Rolex Grey prices are going to fall a lot more. The Jewellery Godfather is brilliant !! I would chose the Grand Seiko over the Pepsi.
More Gary content please, listening to him talk about jewlery and negotiating is like jazz and fine wine

Agree 100% was amazing from them

Great episode! Especially liked the jewelry segment with Gary!

More of this content please!
You should give old grumpy a whole episode to him self and see what he makes of it 😂
I love Adrian he’s the kinda guy that gets business done correctly with no messing around that’s the kinda guys you want running your business tbh.
Gary should have his own show he is a genius i cant stop watching him good man.
This is exactly what I'd love to see more of! Just every day operations, buying and selling! ❤
Adrian is now number 2. Gary is the OG terminator of buying
I loved the Gary negotiation portion. More of the OG!
Need to see more negotiations with Gary

Best episode you’ve had in quite awhile. Nice job!
Gary negotiate exactly like my father, he had a lot of "friends" but some of them often spoke behind his back, never to his face 😂
this is ridiculous i didnt know gary had so much personality we need more gary in the video negotiating i want more content with gary !!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Adrian is the man 😂 love how much he cares about the business.

Amazing camera quality. Great to see the crazy improvements from when this show first started.

Best one for a while. Keep up the Great work
adrian, give ur wife her leather jacket back
Based on your comment you ain’t got no swag!
It’s terrible
@@Stizzie44 based on ur profile name and loving such a jacket, u just a plain weirdo goofy
Bro my man’s was swagged out vintage vibes. You mad hahah
It’s just the fit. Anyone with confidence can pull it off. And Adrian is the right body shape
1:47 you said the bracelet was stretched but here it looks fine ? slimey
Great to see you guys take the time and explain the business 👍
Brilliant seeing you andrew from watchfinder together. Two legends.

You guys are amazing! Taking time while your there on business to explain watches to the new guy.
Another great episode!
Is there a list somewhere of all the different NYC stores that they hit? I know Motion in Time but the others I don't....
My two favorite RUclips watch channels in one place ❤
What was that escapement on the GP they showed a quick clip of in transition?
Daddy Sharf ist the best!
Thanks for my wire this morning needed that
Adrian, where did you get that leather jacket? Macklemore Thrift Shop video wardrobe?
You can tell the market is REAL tough now...
But your have to feel bearish and grind hard
I just want to know what type/ brand sunglasses Adrian has hanging from his collar?
Negotiations with OG Gary!
47th for an outsider is like Disneyland. So much fun even if the hustle is down a few percentage points. Nothing like going fishing in the sea.
Fun video. . 🎉 keep it uppppp
good content🖤💯
Does anyone know what the IWC was at 05:32 ?
Just how it’s not fair ADs sell straight to grey market and not to end consumers.
Same with scalpers, people should stop buying from middle man
This is so cool man y’all cool asl
This is just like my brother and I. I'm the asshole for saving money and keeping vultures away. This is so admirable
More Gary please, he has BDE
👍👍👍@Adrian. that customer is going to walk in again, you can make it right under the line again, ??
enjoyable video. appreciated.
Week 2 of asking about Sabina?
Czinger can probably scan and print you a new case for that bustdown.

Little confused… what happen to the “gray market” episodes? Or r these it?
How much did that guy make on the Nautilius? It wasn’t clear
When I hear the watches hit against the glass counter...
What is the watch at 4:45?
Looks like the watch business is booming
Upon inspection AND repair
15 thousand, 30 seconds later “how much?” 17500 🤣
Why wouldn’t you stop at Overtime watch repair.
That Bison leather biker jacket 😂
Great video
4:41 nice spelling on OLD BREGUETTE
him pulling out the MARK XII for 3800
WHAT AN EPISODE! Thank you guys! Loved every minute
Marco with the gold chain! I give it six weeks before he starts rocking those LV knockoff dunks and speaking with just a slight Russian accent.
Haha first time viewer - the guy was making 10k, then 7k then it was nothing - 😂
Explorer II on the guy's wrist is a 5-digit 16570 (maybe 16550), photo shown is a 6-digit. Video edit guy lacking.
GARY THE LEGEND
why the antique watches a beautiful .. thats because each part was made with love and not flashy crap or colour just the art of metal :)
Nice looking blacpain watches anyone know the reference #
