If I were joe i would continue to build this defense. We have an opportunity to have the best defense in the division. If we get another CB 1. Draft a DT next to dex, add some pass rushers and we could be special!!!
Yeah as a Giants fan I haven't had a lot to be happy about this season but one thing I am excited about this season is our Rookie class you guys are 100% correct Joe Schoen drafted some studs our future is looking bright I think we'll be picking in the top 5 in 2025 draft and Shoen needs to hit on a QB 2 I like are Shadeur Sanders and Cam Ward I also like Milrowe from Alabama but my favorite outta this class is Cam Ward
There's gonna be alot of bad teams going after QB'S and I still don't believe the Giants will get either one of them.I think they will go after Matthew Stafford this off season and go after Arch Manning in the 2027 draft and let him sit out a year and watch
Anthony I was thinking the same thing about Rattler in the 4th round. Positional value QB over TE with Belly and Cager on the roster. Worse case you have a better backup than Lock, that guy is awful. Cutlets is better!!!
2 players could turn this team around A good new QB, and a good solid swing tackle. Keeping the o-line strong, with Thomas or without him, would do so much. Tight ends could be used as receivers. Weve got good running back depth. Really good WR weapons. If we just had a good QB and a solid line with depth, we would win a lot more games. Oh, and a healthy competant backup kicker. Then we can fine tune the roster - a little better starting guard, a solid WR4 (Wwhether thats Hyatt waking up or somebody new) a little more DL and secondary depth. Then we've got a damn good team. We're not that far off.
The only miss is not getting some sort of insurance policy for Andrew Thomas be it in the draft or free agency.If the giants were in playoff contention it could have completely derailed it.
You guys need to slow down on the draft grades, especially Schoen's 2023 class. Those players were drafted to a dysfunctional system with coaching changes and personnel changes all around. Stop with the hit and miss talks because we really don't know. On offense, everything starts with the line. The protection has not been there to help the skill position players succeed. Not even close. I ain't calling Jalin Hyatt or Eric Gray draft failures just yet. See through this rebuild and give them a chance with better support at the QB and the offensive line.
I don't know about that. I'd say there's a good chance with a quality QB that Hyatt might contribute enough to not be traded away or cut. If Hyatt wants to thrive, he needs to improve a lot of things about his own game regardless of who the QB is. His film this year is awful.
This year's rookie draft class is what gives me the most hope for the future. Hitting on a rookie qb would be awesome.

THIS!!! I can't agree enough. We don't need to draft a QB in the first round in order to make a starting QB change, if the rookie QB isn't there.

The first draft class was Gettlemans scout team. So I think the GM should get somewhat of a pass.
This rookie class is so good. Aside from Leek, Nubin, Phillips are both playing like 1st rounders
