I mainly use headphones (open back) because I live in a town apartment with very thin walls,so when producing at night noise concerns can quickly have some angry neighbours at me 😂..yea it does have it's advantages if not for the invitation to quick ear fatigue lol
Open up your speaker and check if the soldering has loosened on the cables, sometimes the soldering cracks and then there is a bad connection and you get a crackling sound. I have had a few monitors with this problem,
