How many of these people said “I surfed Pipe today” and never caught a wave.
# of good waves per min / by the number of people in the lineup how the heck do you get more than one a day without getting into a fight for dropping in on a dozen people. I am cured for ever wanting to paddle out at pipe after this.

Love how the locals show respect to one another in the lineup. Even with the others they understand that’s why they sit at 1st reef it’s not just fear, lol they’re showing respect most try not to get in the way. They gotta be thinking holy crap I’m surfing pipe with legends. 😎🤙🇺🇸
This is a refreshing video. Gives us a real sense of what goes on in the lineup at a world class spot. A great change. Also good to see the love amongst the locals. Pure psyche.

Always wanted to see this side of it. still don't fully get how you all decide and call it and manage to do this mass choreography between the waves and all the surfers. Awesome POV. Really shows the crowd factor which is unnerving to start with and coupled with the power of pipe and it's a Class A S#$T show. Newport Beach gets super crowded as well, but not condensed like this and the skill level at pipe is way hihger than around the local breaks here. Dig the POV's. Keep those coming, it's the real thing.

Just navigating a crowd like that takes some serious skill. And on top of that you're surfing one of the most dangerous waves in the world.

The best part of the video (in a weird way) was the masterful ride to the sand.
