Hitman Absolution is a good game. I just think that Hitman Blood Money and the three newer Hitman games are even better. Hitman Absolution has a very good story and it's always fun to sneak around and take out your targets. The maps are more linear and cramped in Hitman Absolution. In the other games the maps are bigger and feels more like a big playground compared to Absolution. Hitman Absolution also has a weird checkpoint/save feature if I remember correctly. I think if you load a save in Absolution all handymen, cooks, gardeners, guards etc... that you have taken out comes back. And disguises are not very good in Hitman Absolution. Even if you have a police uniform other police will still notice you and you have to use your powers to avoid detection. So it's either using that power all the time or you have to sneak around like crazy everywhere.
I prefer the three newest Hitman games where a disguise is very good and gives you access to defined locations and that they can't see through your disguise. If you get your hands on a good disguise you can look around and just have to watch out for some of those enforcers that can see through your disguise.
So again Hitman Absolution is a good game, I just think it has some flaws and that the other Hitman games are even better.

The problem with Absolution was that it wasn't very "Hitman", that's why people reacted negatively to it when it came out. As in, go into a large playground and have freedom to go at it however you want, with tons of replayability. Disguises being so nerfed, having to use instinct on them, having an Overwatch ult for your guns for some reason in a game where you're supposed to be a Silent Assassin and not kill anyone but your target if you do it well. I feel like people going into it as it being any random stealth/action story game you play once would enjoy it, but people expecting Blood Money or the new trilogy kind of freedom and Hitman gameplay where you can play the same map lots of times feel very restricted. There's a few Hitman-like open areas but not nearly enough or big enough.

i'd say the hitman tier list goes John Wick> 47. equalizer is just boring ass garbage, both denzel washington and queen latifa are terrible actors who completely destroyed what the equalizer could've been.
