    You probably aren’t going to notice this, and neither is anyone else in this video, but you are such a big inspiration to me, Feliks. You inspired me to start cubing and now I average a sub 20 and it took me just a year. By watching your videos, it’s motivation to pick up my cube and play with it for hours. Once again, I know you aren’t going to notice this, but if you do, it’s an honor just to have you read my comment. To anyone who’s reading this, have a nice day!

    As a 50 year old that started May 2017, you are an inspiration. I feel the need to watch you videos twice; once at regular speed and once at 0.25. At either speed, it's simply amazing.

    Having a bit of a challenge figuring out cycles on l4e (and am too impatient to learn them). Advice on how to think about them? Thx

    • @fzemdegs
      @fzemdegs  6 лет назад +16

      hmm, I haven't spent much time thinking about how to formalise my approach to l4e, because it's also quite random. I'll be doing some 6x6/7x7 stuff for CubeSkills over the next few months so hopefully that'll be quite structured.
      One thing I found recently was that even though I was doing some decent cycling, my setups and fingertricks were sometimes really quite awkward to perform, and so I've tried to be more conscious about doing L4E in a speed optimal manner. Also, definitely best not to lose track of the location of any of the last 4 edges, can be a nightmare getting them back.
      Also, my gut feeling is that I only tend to try them when I have 3 edges remaining so as not to complicate things (because I can keep those under control - 2 in the front and 1 on the top).

    I have an idea for a new alg set that would probably make fast people who know ZBLL even faster. You would only insert 3 cross edges and then do F2L. Then you would insert the last edge in a way that would force an edge oriented OLL which then you could do a ZBLL. Leave a like if you think it is a good idea!
