About 25 yrs ago I saw an artists concept picture of a building designed by a Mexican man wherein his design was not to go up but to go down into the earth . At street level the apartment building would be wide . As you travelled downward it would narrow down to a point . Sunlight would be reflected in by use of mirrors . Do you know this mans name ?

Yes, but the melting joists of the WTC buildings don't fall at free fall speeds as recorded by the cameras, and the structures would not fallen in such perfect symmetry if it was due to melted metal. The structure would fallen in an asymmetrical fashion as the heat would not have affected all the structure in the same way. The part of the building with most burning fuel would have caused the building to fall like a chopped at tree because of variations in heat distribution.

The Daniel Libeskind-designed WTC 2.0 is a much more elegant group of buildings than what were eventually erected. It's too bad as the Freedom Tower is a monstrosity...IMO.

Facing my Fobia is high rise buildings. I can't sleep up above 5ft floors up. Vertical heights scare me. Pyramids with balconies with no vertical drop on side I would feel comfortable living in. I'm sleepwalking after few drinks.
