Memongkar Battery Bose Soundlink Mini 2 - 7 December 2020

Has anyone been successful with replacing one of these batteries? I’ve tried to solder in a new one with no luck. There must be a way to take out the board that’s in there sideways because I can’t imagine a manufacturing process that would have resulted in soldering the battery into the PC board the way it’s accessible from the bottom.

I did tonight. Snip the wires coming off the board as long as possible and solder the new battery in. Works great

I was trying to replace the battery on my SoundLink Mini II and realized it was quite a bit different than this version. So I made a video on my channel that gives you a step by step on how to do that incase this version didn't work out for you!

If that was me I'd snip the wires at the battery end and solder on the new battery to the loose ends, rather than try to get a solderin iron into those joints on the pcb
