Nick will be remembered as the guy who single-handedly inspired a new generation of yacht enthusiasts. Kudos to you, Nick.
a new generation of yacht enthusiasts who can't afford any yachts 😭😂
@@smithers4420 Maybe not a brand spanking new one ... but 2nd or 3rd hand isn't neccessarily a scrap heap, and if you're nifty with tools you can even fix it up yourself ;-)
I want to be part of this movement. Wait for me to pay off the loan for my 20k dollar car first!
You can get a decent sailboat for around 10k€, even less if you are willing to put in some hours.
I Agree. Nick is an excellent host. Charming and humorous. More importantly he knows his way around a yacht and engineering spaces.
Forget how unique these boats are, refreshing to see, thanks again.
I do love these sailing cats, world wide range because of the sail, tons of room, and always surprises. Thanks Nick, and please take care during the new lock downs.
*This tour was so GOOD I could smell that NEW Yacht smell. Glad you are doing Catamaran's.....* For future sail vessel reviews sugest like more specs:
> Width and Draft?
> AC and Heating?
> Speed / Range motor only (fuel capacity)?
> Generator provision (Full Gen option cost)?
For me, a tour is something you add to a review, meaning you already know the specs when you view the tour.
For me as a subscriber to this channel, those specs would be fun to know! But if its tough for the creator, meh, whatever works!
At some point listing all the specs becomes tedious and better suited to a written spec sheet, but that tour definitely had less info than most @Aquaholic tours. He certainly didn't poke around the engine space as much as he does on a power boat. I feel he doesn't personally like cats and just includes them to appease requests. He also could have been been rushing to film as many vids as possible before UK Lockdown 2 - Lockdown Boogaloo.
@@Denstoradiskmaskinen Buyers will know how to find the specs but AQUAHOLIC normally features 'the whole lot' in his features.
@@Denstoradiskmaskinen he normally includes horsepower and range in his other tours, I'm sure he could find a way to integrate these other details into his video rather seamlessly.
I always include a link to the dealer or manufacturer web site in the description that should have that sort of info.
The feeling is so immediately refreshing and calming when looking into a cat as compared to a monohull. Perhaps others find the comparison opposite for them, but this to me is a place I would love to spend a lot of time in.
next time you review a boat like this can you please show the window to the water underneath the steps, its been interesting me since the lagoon catamaran video. Thanks, Great video as always!
I love catamarans as they have so much space upstairs (even considering the smaller bedrooms). Love it Nick. Thanks!!
My pleasure!
I love Cats, had an amazing holiday to the BVI’s in Jan spent two wonderful weeks sailing a catamaran. Can definitely recommend it. Lovely tour Nick
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Wow, this is an amazing catamaran. I love that well protected, safe cockpit and Helm station but adding that fly deck brings things to a whole new level and offers so much living/recreational space. Safe beautiful cockpit plus open airy flydeck is the best of both worlds. The interior lives up to Fountaine Pajot's well earned reputation. Absolutely gorgeous.
Congrats on all your success with the channel! You deserve it bud! 🤟🤟👍👍💙💙💙.
Mikey
Very nice. I've always had a soft spot for catamarans. They're beautiful, and there's just something about them that makes you fall in love.
I like the fact that you can see the ocean through the stairs between the two hulls. I'm glad they made that a feature.
My friends father has one of these. I’ve visited it and it’s magnificent! Thanks for the tour!
Thanks for watching!
Well done, nice couples boat with mayb guests, a bit utilitarian, looking forward to a power cat if you find an opportunity..
Great video, it’s great to see a catamaran on your channel
Always nice to see sailboats on the channel. As a Dart 18 owner these big cats always fascinate me.
Best of both worlds, sail, or motor yacht, you choose!
Thanks Nick
I love when you showcase a catamaran! These are so beautiful!
Great job as always Nick
Glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful boat
If living space is your primary goal, you can’t beat a Cat! I’d have a whack of solar, instead of that upper seating area, but I do get the appeal. Only thing missing is a forward facing nav station. Lovely machine. Of course the always excellent Aquaholic tour, makes it even better!
i'm surprised that yachts don't have solar panels that can expand from the interior .. like plane wings,. the ocean is big enough for it !
@@ancientsolar2 Having that much winded area hurts sailing performance. Honestly, if you get rid of the flybridge and cover that Bimini with solar, you should have enough to keep your batteries charged all the time.
I have seen some great aftermarket use of the space over the davits to build a solar rack. I'm in the market for a live aboard Cat and I'm torn over the coach roof lounge. I agree it's a great place for solar and the custom over the davit option adds some significant costs. I wonder if FP could build one and leave off the coach roof lounge. Leopard does not seem too keen on the idea.
I do like the living space and stability of a cat especially with a fully decked bow area. Interesting...
No space for solar because of the mini fly.
Nice tour Nick. That's a great 'introduction' to a modern catamaran.
I'm sure that in time, you'll have more of them on your channel, where we will see much more of what these magnificent machines are able to behold.
Apart from your channel, I also follow 'Sailing Zatara', 'Gone with the Wynns' (& a few others), therefore I'm getting to know Catamarans quite well.
It's all fun living & spending time on the water, in whatever craft one desires. It's just great that you give us a brilliant insight. Thank you
really enjoy the sail boats too
I really cant watch any other yacht tour videos unless Nick is doing it. He is so thorough and it is obvious his love for boating gives you a rather immersive feel. I am not knocking other channels, but lets look at this 300 footer and explore half of the cabins. This is the difference, keep up the great work 👍
I love sail boats please more
Excellent video Nick, very nice boat
Glad you enjoyed it
Lovely tour, I like the hardtop over the cockpit. Not quite convinced about sailboats but I am liking what they are doing with catamarans. Great tour, thank you Nick 👍
Love this, what a great boat! Big, spacious, light and well equipped.
Hi Nick. A nice catamaran. 3 cabins all ensuite is enough. Plenty of space aboard. Great walkthrough Thanks.
1 floating apartment coming up ... what a stunner! TY for showing of the ropes on this one, Nick :-)
Glad you enjoyed it
@@AQUAHOLIC Cats certainly tick a lot of boxes over here ;-)
Beautiful cat! Love the interior, very minimalistic, great colours. This is serious boating for a couple, easy around the world. Thanks for another great tour, Nick! Cheers!
Love boats, love your walk throughs, you present everything so well, ....and so forth!!.
Thank you very much!
Wow just majestic and wonderful Nick Sir... You are also looking great and Keep smiling...
You're very kind 🙂
@@AQUAHOLIC Its my pleasure.. I like to watch your videos and learn from it.. So I'm always excited..
Really love the cats. As a retired US Navy vet the best sleep is a ship that rocks you to sleep like your mother used to.
Nice boat but for €600,000 there are far superior yachts both new and used for sale. Great job Nick. Love the video.
I am so so glad your showing another sail Cat I really enjoy them Nick I think if i ever have the chance to go out on the seas this is what I would do it in.
Wow. If you were thinking that this boat seemed huge for the length, it is because it has an incredible 24.8' beam!
Fp does make some pretty cats. Though in the 40-45 ft range they are one of the heavier boats so despite having one of the biggest sail areas in that range, they still come in fairly underpowered. There's also the question of quality. Despite being one of the more expensive production cats, their build quality isn't amazing. I dunno, is it a French thing? I am reminded of the reputation French cars have... Anyways, it's good to see more sailing boats, particularly catamarans!! Keep 'em coming.
@justsomeguy You may be thinking of Jeanneau who has some manufacturing in the US. FP only has locations in France (La Rochelle and Aigrefeuille). Beneteau Group owns Jeanneau and Lagoon, but all Lagoon manufacturing is done in SA. In fact, I believe that the only sailing catamarans built in the US are Gemini and Maine Cat.
@justsomeguy Yeah, Like i said, Beneteau has facilities in the US. However Fountaine Pajot, the subject and topic of this video and my comment, only has two facilities in France.

Loved the tour ad always Nick. Great to see so.e sail power on the channel. And this cat has loads of great space.👍👍😄
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for a lovely tour Nick, I am more enamored of the usual yachts you review, however it is good to see what's available. I recently bought one of your lovely pullover hoodies and am very pleased with it. Living in Australia I was very surprised how quickly I received it. Stay safe Nick and hopefully you can still keep your awesome tours coming.
Awesome! Enjoy 🙂
Nice change, touring a cat. Nice boat for those that want to work a bit harder getting from A to B. Thanks, Nick.
I would be the guy to take that boom across the forehead while up on that upper area. Great video Nick! These catamarans are always very interesting!
Very nice you did it again. As always your tours are simply amazing 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
More sailing catamaran videos, please and thank you
Your walkarounds are the best... cheers!
Thank you kindly!
I love this boat
Another great vid Nick 👍
The white against the matte wood colours looks great.
Top notch video as alwaays!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love catamarans, and I loved this video. Great video Nick, I really enjoy tours of less traditional boats, like a catamaran, the X95, and aft-cabin boats. Could we get a tour of a houseboat or a racing yacht sometime? Those should not be hard to find in your neck of the woods.
Glad you enjoyed it! Working on houseboats, stay tuned...
Love seeing sailboats
Awesome!! I was waiting for it!!
Thank you so much!!
(I have fun trying to guess what you're about to say Nick... this time I won " its all storage "
Ok it's an easy one)
Hey Nick great tour of a beautiful catamaran at an incredible price as you get a whole lot of boat for your money and that owners cabin is awesome, I hope you're all good and thanks for sharing have a great day
Glad you enjoyed it
WooHoo! another sail boat, they are always so interesting, great use of space! great job, as always Nick!
Glad you like them!
Oh wow a catamaran! So great. If I were to get into boating, it would aboard one of these. Good to see you doing reviews on them. Keep the outstanding content coming!
Thanks for watching!
Yes!!! More catamarans! :) thanks, Nick!
My pleasure!!
What a great video, well done Nick And what a awesome yacht, I could watch this forever.
Thanks for the cat video Nick. Great video as always.
Glad you enjoyed it
As Ever....................... Nice.
This is great! If you want trans-ocean, relatively affordable, sail is the way to go and it appears cats offer fantastic space for their length! It may not be where I would spend my money but if you’re a “real” sailor, this is awesome!
Great vid. Makes me want a sailing boat. Never wanted one before. 😂 Loads of space in that one. Love it.
wow! nice boat!
I've really been looking forward to seeing a really big Catamaran like a 60-80 foot boat because no other channel does it right and other channels teleport around the boat so you don't get a feel to what the boat is actually like.
Nick, Solar Power Silent 80 Triple Deck, Please. My Dream Boat.
Hmmmm sailing seems such a faf, but the thought of silent travel around the Caribbean does appeal. Nice tour Nick. Thank you xxxx
Glad you enjoyed it
There are two big reasons to get a sail boat over a motor boat. Range and maintenance costs.
Love the Cats, both powered and sail, and that you are featuring sailing options. Just a thought, since for most of us this is a bit of fantasy/ virtual vacay, have you ever thought about doing Marina Tours? I am thinking Monaco, Yas in Abu Dhabi, the Dubai Golf and Yacht club, Miami, and other places. It would be cool to see what the ammenities are, how much a berth costs, nearby restaurants and sailing destinations. I have media connections in the Emirates in situ.
Foreign travel is the big issue right now
@@AQUAHOLIC true...
Catamarans are so cool. Thanks for the tour!
More boats like this please. Awesome cat!!
I keep catching a glimpse of the window behind the stairs every time you show a double hull. If you could, would you please provide a much better look at this feature. I would very much like to see this feature. Thank You greatly. Cheers 🍻 and Sail On!!!
Awesome vid
love this thing
Nice tour Nick but think I would go for the motor catamaran version of this if one exists just love the space you get with this design
Ooooh I can smell that fresh out of the case new smell... Lovely basic and simply stylish! Love me a cat :-)
Good morning Nick, excellent presentation as always. Cats not my thing really, have really tried hard to "get" them but they are not disability friendly, but I know that they are very sustainable etc, but not my bag. Have been following Sailing La Vagabonde since they started and I am a Patreon, I think that they are very brave, but nope not for me. Thanks.
Could you explain what about them makes them not disability friendly? My grandfather loved the ocean and had to sell his boat since he's in a wheelchair, someone recommended to me to charter a cat so that I could get him back out on the water for his birthday. Do you have any recommendations for a better type of boat if you have some experience?
lovely yacht review as always nick.
Many thanks!
Nice cat very spacious no room for solar with that cockpit. The price will rise when you start to kit it out. But a stunning boat cheers Nick
I do believe that when it comes time for me to purchase a boat, I believe it will be a cat. Thanks Nick for another excellent review.
Excellent tour as usual, Nick! It does seem, however, the last few have been rushed thru quicker than I can process the info/ I usually have to go back several times.
Excellent service as per usual. What a lovely relaxing long range capable vessel. Simply beautiful. 👍👍👍 take care and stay safe. 🛥🛳☠🚤⛴🏴☠️🚢⛵⚓😎
nice boat, only mistake is that owners temple, the is no window.. :O
That’s a really nice Cat, love that master cabin!
Nice video as always, thanks for the video! I'm waiting already for yours next cat video!
Nice cat, just like every other nice cat.Not any variation possible due to the hull configuration makes them a standard layout that cannot be deviated from.I think the point of these boats is for hardcore sailors, therefore the accommodations are a secondary consideration.Maybe power cats are more varied?I would guess if they have no mast, you can then build another deck or 2? 🤔
I think hardcore sailors would be angry that you suggested they like catamarans haha.
@@JackBahh indeed! :D
What a very nice Catamaran, well thought through especially the area next to the helm. The boat is probably more suited to the med but a nice way to sail all the same, great review Nick 👍
Not the sort of thing I would normally go for. Having said that after watching a couple of your cat tours I can
certainly see the appeal if it were down in the med or the like. Thanks for the great tour as always.
unlimited range and gas/diesel free traveling is so appealing
I'm no expert but I'm sure there would be a big difference in fit-out for a world cruiser versus a weekend yacht. Solar, generator, extra freezers, spare sails, toolboxes, etc. This yacht, while nice, is fitted as a pretty weekender & as such is appealing. I see the UK is going back into lockdown so I'm guessing the next video will be a fireside chat about how Nick got into You Tube. I'd be interested to hear.
Just search for AQUAHOLIC Q&A, it's all there! 🙂
Luv your videos. Keep up the great work. Any plans on giving a tour of the silent yacht? Would like your input on those as long term maintenance seems to be negligible on those
Very good value for money with a cat, all that space, yes please!
love a good catamaran.
Loved this video, could you try and take a tour of a Formosa 51 sailing yacht? Would love that. chrs
Silent 80 please😍😍😍
Everything is very nice, ever time.
I love cats and tris
Hi Nick
Do you think you would be able to do the Algeria 67 soon, would love to see it. Love the video
Nick love the videos great work ! What are the chances of seeing more Catamaran reviews ?
Into cats? 👍👍 Any chance of a vid of a Leopard 53 2020 power cat? Should be a great boat!
Nick... its steer the boat from not helm the boat from, only helm position. But I like this cat but you haven't said how far you could go just on the boats engines if you had to. ?
