You have far more courage than I when it comes to trying to fool CGC antics these days with the purple labels for HOPS/Blue LED appearing. My last customer had a couple purples with the definition, "cover cleaned" and a purple label. WTF!!! I have gone back to strictly dry cleaning for my customers these days until something concrete comes out about it (LED/peroxide treatment), instead of this random subjective grading practices they use.... Or, maybe I just suck at it. Btw, I agree that you should have gotten at least an 8.0 on the book. Looks good though.
If you have after pics of the comics before grading, I can take a stab at what was flagged. I have a video on two to show using a Cap and Thor book side by side. I have not been flagged in 2023 to the best of my knowledge
@@TopComicsPressing I'll keep that in mind. I'm trying to dig as deep as possible because I want to try make a living out of this. Don't know if that is done as a side hobby or else. Looking for directions everywhere.. lol
CGC always seems to downgrade to 7.5 with any amount of staining. That book could have been a 9.8 with only the staple staining, and they probably would have said 7.5. Ridiculous imo
This is horrid. You are self restoring comics. Another reason to not buy / trust CGC books. Taking gullible people as they (chances are) won't break the case.
Done. I contacted him directly. You are a scammer and should be ashamed to call yourself a 'collector' Explain what happens to the 7.0 in the database? @@TopComicsPressing

You do great work do you have a website where you can go and look on how much you charge to press and Clean comics. Thanks
I don’t have an independent site - just Facebook, instagram and email at topcomicspressing@gmail.com
Cracking open these CGC cases always unnerves me, I only slab major keys, most of my PC is raw.
Mine too
The pages in creme color can be whitened, or that is only done with the covers?
You have to be very careful w interiors. There are a lot of ways to leave “tells”. Can be done but very very tedious

It’s kinda random… but in general based on size and intensity
