I received an email from YTTV explaining that Sunday Ticket channels could be added to my Custom Live Guide and have them featured at the top. I had no idea how to do this until I came across your video. I also took the opportunity to customized my other favorite channels. So, thanks again!
For anyone who is having this problem and finding that they don’t even have the Live Guide option under settings, try turning your Wi-Fi off on your cell phone. After I switched to LTE the Live Guide option popped up and I was able to do it.
But joking aside if RUclips TV ever did had a plan for antenna users without local channels for 20 dollars cheaper. We'll be attending the funeral of Sling TV.
Do you have any updates/info on RUclips tv dropping MLB Network? I received an email last night notifying me they couldn't reach an agreement and within hours, it was gone. Less than a days notice
YTTV has the best user experience out there. Unfortunately their blocking of commercials and playing the same NBC previews over and over again drove me away

I'm having an issue where no matter where I put NFL Network, it's showing up at the bottom of my Custom List. Even when I make it my one and only Top Channel. Any reasoning behind this? Know of a fix? Otherwise, my Custom List is perfect.

at 0:55 , What is the difference between moving those channels in to "Top Channels" and simply just moving them to the top of your "All Channels" list? Im not seeing the difference.
There isn't. The ALL CHANNELS will still be shown unless you hide them. Some people move only their favorites to the top category, then hide everything underneath. You can just move them to the top of ALL CHANNELS if you prefer!
At this time you can't delete recordings. They will stay for nine months and automatically delete at that time. The only thing you can do at this time is stop future recordings by unchecking them in your library settings. Right now it's all or nothing. RUclips tv has said that changes are coming which will allow more control over the DVR, but they haven't been specific as to what the changes will be, or WHEN they will happen.

I showed on the screen exactly how I do it to prove the process works. Without seeing your screen, hard for me to help. I can only say to make sure you are logged in from the same account on the TV that you used when changing the order on your computer. Also make sure to refresh as I showed. The custom guide feature is one of my favorite things about RUclips tv. It makes browsing your channels so much easier than the standard a -z setup that all of the other services have. I just wish you could customize the guide from your tv, like you can with Fubo.
I have customized my live guide. Great. I’m if I want to go from the live channel at the top to a channel 18 places down, do I have to literally scroll down, down, down etc?? Can I not go directly to a Channel ? Also when just perusing thru the guide can I only do it one channel at a time??
Yes you could also use the search bar for the channel or see if it’s in Top Picks for You on the Home screen. There is also a Most Watched filter on the guide.

I just recently found an update for last channel watched, whis is AWESOME!!! all you do is hold down the OK button until you see the counterclockwise arrow, and it will go to previous channel you were on! 👏👏👏

My channel list doesn't look like this. I don't get the three lines at upper left. And one channel does not appear on my guide on my TV, whatever I do.
Why are there no Channel numbers and can you go to the last channel that you viewed. I need to know all these questions before I would switch my cable provider. Can you record and pause just like you would live television from other cable companies such as Dish Network. That's where we will be coming from. The only reason that we are switching is because of the NFL ticket.

I was able to create custom live guide for me as the manager of the account, but how do other members create a custom live guide for themselves? When I log in as my husband, go to settings, I don't see the option for live guide on the left of the screen.
The option should be there as long as the family manager shared the account with the second email you’re trying to use. I have multiple members on my account and all have separate live guides.
I have done as you show. I logged in online on computer and reordered my channels, but the now custom channel guide is still showing precious line up. I have signed out and in. Etcccc
We have my family sharing subscription. I am curious if anyone knows how to keep my daughters video thumbs from showing on to my RUclips account when I am log on.. All I see are Cartoons, and I want to see the youtube video that are relevant to me. Thank you

this doesn't work. I was able to customize my guide, but on the TV it would never refresh to show what I had prioritized. I did it several times, it never refreshed.
These steps do work. I show them in the video. There could be a problem with your account, so I suggest contacting support: michaelsaves.com/streaming/contact-youtube-tv-support/. Another thing: Make sure you are logged in on the TV using the same Google account that you used on the web/phone to customize.
OMG, I just wish it wouldn't play videos in the background of menus. Everyone I try to switch over HATES that. It's hard enough to learn a new menu system without live TV blaring at you. I got an elderly neighbor who would save $150 a month by cutting the cord, and THAT HORSESHIT is stopping her. And, no, disabling auto-start doesn't disable it.
Is it just me? This is not the issue; the problem I have is *HOW TO CHANGE CHANNELS!* Surely I must be missing something obvious, because there is no way this would not have been addressed. Sure, you've just ordered your list of channels, but how do you get from the first one to the last one?
Thanks for this Michael Saves. I finally got the part of setting up Custom Channels and putting them in the order I prefer. Now I need to look at all those channels I hid and see which ones I wish to unhide and move to my Custom Channels. RUclips TV has so many channels available that it's almost mind boggling to this very old man. Many of those I see I have never even heard of and have no clue what they are.

From live TV, arrow down 3 times and the last channel will be first on the mini guide

Are you on a TV set? This is for RUclips TV, a separate app from RUclips.

How can you unhide back the thing
You scroll down to the very bottom of your list where you find your hidden channels and click 'UNHIDE'

Auto start will mean no menus when you START the app. But the do appear later on. I understand your frustration

Just using the channel buttons on my TV remote works for me.

@@chikkipop I should clarify. I use the channel up and down buttons. The channels themselves don't have numbers so you just have to go up and down.

Why does it only let me see like 15 of my picked channels instead of all the channels I picked?
Any channel that you don’t hide will show up in the guide. You can continue organizing under All Channels.
