All videos(10) were very much informative, i really loved it the way it is explained. The concept of MANOVA with two different versions really provided a lot of information. Thank you very much. Great!!!
It starts to make sense to me and also you have voice that is pleasant to listen to, and moreover I am not native english speaker and I can understand you.
No, t-tests are not more appropriate. It is totally fine to do an ANOVA on two means. In fact, if you square root the F value, you'll get the corresponding t value.
Please make video on discriminant analysis. I love your videos and I always come back to your channel to brush up my knowledge of quantitative statistics.
All of your videos are extremely useful and well made, thank you! I have one question, SPSS performs F tests on each of the DVs after a significant MANOVA, but what if your IV has only 2 levels? Are t tests more appropriate? Thank you and please keep making videos! :)
That would be my question too! My other question is how can you check two groups' differences on a single dependent variable? Do you run separate ANOVAs or t-tests? What about ANCOVAs?
Hi, I have one problem and I don´t know what is bad in my options. This was written in the description and I don´t know what does this mean. I did MANOVA with two factors (sex and diet), and I follow your video. Box's Test of Equality of Covariance Matrices is not computed because there are fewer than two nonsingular cell covariance matrices. Thank you :-)
hello professor, i just want to know if i can still perform MANOVA if i already used SEM in a single model, is it possible to use both SEM and MANOVA in a single model
Hallo there, If I report the item wording and compare on the Item level, do I need to recode my reversed scored items? For running a MANOVA with negative and positive items do I need to recode my negative items? Or do I only recode when I want to analyze the factorial level? Thank you for your help!
Could someone provide the link to the summary? I would like to use the syntax referenced in the later videos. I would also like to read the Box Test of Equality references.
Precise and awesome video! Very grateful for sharing your knowledge ! I have data sets that fall under the category of 2-way MANOVA. What are the comparisons that need to be done in that case? Have you any video on 2-way MANOVA?
I have one dependent variable and four independent variables. I have put my scale item (the DV) in the first box, and my IVs in the 'fixed factors' box but SPSS won't let me click 'ok'. What does that mean? Please help!
Do you have any videos on how to plot the residuals from a MANOVA in order to check for multivariate normality? I attempted to plot residuals using a Chi-Squared QQ plot, but SPSS says it can't plot negative residuals and it won't produce the plot. Any suggestions or tutorials? Thanks!
Hey Lea, if the analysis of variance does not find a significant difference between three or more sample means, then the post-hoc test isn't carried out. I'm working on comparing just two groups across 12 Dependent variables and only two were found to be significantly different between the two groups. So, even for my data, no post-hoc tests were done by SPSS.
Thank you for this walkthrough! Do you have any tutorial explaining how to calculate prevalence and its 95% confidence intervals by using SPSS? For comparison between groups (eg, male vs. female) which statistical test can I use to identify the statistical difference between prevalences?
i know Im randomly asking but does someone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the password. I love any help you can give me
Dear Sir Could you kindly inform us those references regarding ---what if homogeneity variance assumption violated--when conducting MANOVA. Many thanks
sir i have seen that video will be very helpful to me, i am studying spss , and if you don't min d me to have a copy of your sample data to practice on , please send me those files, than you very much.

Woman: "Ive got this new statistical method. What should we call it? How about WOMANOVA?"
Man: "Hold on..."

I watched all ten. I very much recommend it. Awesome stuff.
Please make video on discriminant analysis. I love your videos and I always come back to your channel to brush up my knowledge of quantitative statistics.
I'd say correlations between dependent variables less than .90 are fine.
This is great! Is it possible to do the second type of supervariable MANOVA analysis but as a MANCOVA?
How strongly correlated can the dependent variables be before doing a MANOVA is no longer advised? I've read that anything with r values
When you get time could you also do a video on how to do a MANOVA board?

Can I use uncorrelated factor loadings (from PCA - varimax rotation) as dependent variables in a MANCOVA?

hai,i have 10 groups(4 animals in each) and 0,60,120,180,240 days
measurment of Testosteron hormone . how to do the repeated measures

Hello, where can i get data that you analyzed in the video?

Ignore me lol. I just realised what I did...
4:52 Wise choice 😁

Jordon Swain Most people would use Mahalanobis distance values in that context.
Thanks for an informative video. I just was to know if I can still perform MANOVA if I have more that one IV?
Did you find out the answer to this? I have 5 IVs and 2 DVs :)
Can a MANOVA be performed with two independent variables?
Hey, i followed your steps however my post hoc test does not appear in the sass viewer. Could you help me? Thank you in advance.

@@axlbrayan60 Why are you asking here? Reset your IG password.
Hello why do I only have an option for univariant?
I wonder if the version of SPSS you have is a "basic" one that does not allow for multivariate statistics?
Dear Sir
Could you kindly inform us those references regarding ---what if homogeneity variance assumption violated--when conducting MANOVA.

after my dissertation, i would choose LSD too. useful guide

Good explanation, thank you good Sir!
great video! very informative.
