Solid does not describe this plane, it has the same firepower and manuverability of the Spit. V, the same altitude performace of the 109F and all for just being 5km/h slower on cruise than a normal Spit.V, this is why broken is the only correct word that describes the Spit. V DB605. As for equipment, I use Gunsight, Polished Skin(Exp.), Lightweight Wing Frame(Exp.) and Boost Mixture Injection Control, all at 478, combine with Marksman I and II to make the guns hit much better, Aerodynamics Expert to increase the speed and manuverability and Firefighter to remove the fires that you might got if you are unlucky and you get a plane with 47 Airspeed and 89 Manuverability, making for a plane that is only comparable to 1 light fighter, the P-39N and this is without Aerobatics Expert for passing the 90 manuverability treshhold. There's a reson it's my most flown plane at 383 battles.
I've often characterized the DB 605 as if the Spitfire and 109 had a baby and it got the best characteristics (or most of them) from both parents. Fun play - it can be countered if you know what you're doing, but it's still a contender. Also, "New in World of Warplanes: Our bots are now powered by ChatGPT" :)
Gg Postal. I enjoy both the db605 and I the p-39n-1. I think the main advantage is the hub mounted 37mm gives better accuracy. One day I hope to specialize both and see what they are made of.
The German Spitfire is indeed a great plane, not major excelling (except altitude), but not major deficient either. It is an all-around versatile light fighter at tier VI. I fly mine at least 5 times a week. As for the emblem I've commented on this before but you really should be using the WoWp 7th year anniversary emblem of the female jester sitting on a number 7 with the 4 ace cards in the background. 5% is always better than 2% extra pilot experience.
Guns are almost the same way frustrated as XF 36. They are OK tier V, but tier Vll battle? Just a joke. But l can understand people playing all around and be able to master that plane.
@@Corsair37 No disrespect intended, I guess I should have said surprised not shocked. Only because I do play on occasion but the player base is lack luster at best. I hope this is a sign that the game is getting a second wind.
@@davecahoon8509 Fair enough. Yeah, the player base is pretty low, especially on NA (EU got bigger when the CIS players moved there end of last year). There's not much in the way of new development, but WG does keep putting out new premiums and running events. And the community as a whole is really good, at least in my experience. I hope we'll see new development down the road, though to be fair a majority of the WoWP team is in Kyiv, and they've got more important things to deal with at the moment. When/If WG is able to put some time and resources into updating the game (say new maps, new tech tree planes) I think it would give the game a good second wind.

first premium plane I bought, I love this plane.
Only plane I've spent money on. With 100 maneuverability, it was worth every penny. Gotta love the Frankenstein fighter.

For randoms I do prefer the P39N too, but the DB605 is still a very good (and much more attainable) tier VI premium

I was shocked to see this video! This guy must be the only live player left in this game.
Given that he has over 1K subscribers and get's a fair number of comments from other live players on his videos, I'd say you're assertion is wrong.
