My hometown Perlis (Indera Kayangan)😍... Gua Kelam (kaki bukit before uphill to wang kelian), Kuala Perlis, Pasar Padang Besar, Bandar Istana Arau...also can visit too...
I was there last year, Terinai Lakeview Resort (closed) but was used for some event - wedding ceremony + luncheon etc but no restaurant opened then. You are just about 3km away from another resort which is closer & just by the dam edge - Tasoh Lake Resort with chalets, restaurants and many food stalls open, can visit again next time!

it would be great to know the things you pack for biking? you obviously have a drone, your camping gears, your camera,...i'm curious as to what else can you bring for your roadtrips. and if it's a long trip, what about clothes? do you wash them when you're staying overnight or just change to new clothes. Obviously you can't be packing too many things since there's not much space..

我個人的看法，玻璃市是马来西亚最美丽的風景，一大片稻田墊托似桂林山水的喀斯特地貌，風景如山水画。
不單外國人不會去玻璃市，連大部分馬来西亚人也不去旅游。很想到玻璃市過退休生活。

年輕時代要好好玩，以后就沒有閑情和心情。我年輕時踏腳車和坐巴士背包走完全馬包括東馬。
Wang Kelian的馬泰邊境以前有路邊市場，大馬人不用護照也可以去泰國的市場。附近有草藥園，蛇園和葡萄園。
厉害。
只要有一颗向往自由的心，什么年纪都可以出去走走。我认识好一些退休人士，骑着摩托到世界各地去。😊

①驾驶从Wang Kerian 去Bukit Cabang 路上当第一次看到的路尽头时(大路)转左，大概50米右边就是进去bukit Cabang的路口, 一直向前驾驶(路旁都有村屋)大概2～3km会有一个路牌指向右边(其实没路牌也容易看到那两座山)。
②前往Tasoh水坝，右边有个Resort ，但是往前驾驶直接到水坝打卡景点以及瞭望台，小船活动..， 背景是美丽的山峦。

You can actually get closer to the dam, via another resort maybe just a few km away from the closed "rest area resort".

It depends on how long is the trip. Usually more than 4 days, I'll look for laundry.

Hi, Cecillia，看了妳这集的视频，觉得好可惜，好可惜，好可惜喔（重要的事要说3遍😄），不然妳这趟向北独骑之旅，就可以让妳的宙斯大演帽子戏法，连中三元，收集到了3个吉玻边境关卡徽章。
第一个可惜，当妳经过40c（全马最热地点），过第一个block后，在天桥时拐左去view point，如果如果妳拐右，不到5分钟就到达玻州曾经辉煌的边境商业城镇padang besar，从这个关卡出发，不到一个小时就可以到达合艾。
第二个可惜，当妳从view point下来，如果如果妳往左拐，也是大概10分钟的时间，就可到达wang kelian关卡，这个是可以到达泰国沙顿，也是那个难民事件的关卡。
第三个可惜，也是当妳从view point下来，一心直奔寻找哪座孖山（当地人的称呼）Bukit chabang的路上，也大概是5分钟左右，有个分叉路，如果如果妳拐右的话，就可以到达kaki Bukit这个华人小镇，让妳体会验到真正在山脚下生活方式。
如果下雨过后，还有机会看到云雾围绕山峰四周的梦幻景色。
还有看你有没有luck可以尝到这里有名的大包，因为店家卖完就算，不是你想吃就有的那种。
这里也是gua kelam暗窿的所在地，旅游资讯大都只是说当年为了开采锡矿而开的隧道及在里面的钟乳石如何如何等的介绍。
而往往忽略了这小镇历史的厚度，一部华人先贤们在阴暗狭窄，边炸边搭建木梯下窿肚里开采，矿工们冒着生命危险，为当年锡业经济默默作出贡献的血泪史。
他们的后代也默默守侯着这曾经在大马锡矿业史册上留有名字，他们的祖先历经艰辛血汗开辟的孤镇。
如果有遇到70岁以上的安哥安娣，他们都能娓娓道出当年在山顶窿肚里开矿或洗琉琅的经历和故事。
当然，也像其他曾经光辉过的城镇，许多乡里的人流落在外，但心依然还在，依然牵挂故乡的动静。。
所以，当看到你的视频，就很自然的点击来看，看着看着就为你感到可惜，跑了这么远的路，就只差那一点点，就找到亮点，让你这趟solo旅途变得更丰富，宙斯也大唱丰收。
第四个可惜，如果妳从resort （其实，resort不是因为mco才关闭，而是像其他许多的project那样，大家都懂，看了都会摇头叹息惋惜的因素而关闭的）出来，拐左直走，也大概5分钟有条小路，左拐进去就可以近距离接触到timah tasoh水坝，而且还可以边野餐，边欣赏美丽的日落。
还有还有还有。。
这只是玻璃市的边境北部而已。
玻璃市虽很小很小，但也还是有不少大自然地方可以让你们探索，发掘。
如果还想再到玻璃市骑车探索，建议你们在6月最为理想，因为芒果季节4-6月（玻州独有的harumanis品种）榴莲季节，6-7月。
如果配合得到，还有机会去到谷爸也search不到的隐藏秘密地点深度探索。
安排安排，组织组织一下吧，到时你们不但会带着满满的能量回去，而且心里还会像那个大只佬那样说“I’ll back！”

我想说的是，每一个旅程对我而言都不可惜，不可惜，不可惜（非常重要，所以重复三次）。每一个地方都有他独有的文化特色，有他的故事，这些深度探索，不是我这趟不到一天的旅程能够做到的。与其赶路，不如按照我最想要优先完成的计划去执行，其他extra的就会是bonus.
在很多人看来我找不到Chabang, 到了timah tasoh却找不到入口，没有去到gua kelam, 又没吃到大包，而且靠近Wang Kelian 关卡却没去打卡（其实我几年前去过了，还从那里入境泰国）。但是，我这趟心灵是富足的，因为这些本来就不在我计划里。摩旅，可以事先计划到101%,但是等到真正上路就会发现，能够完成50％是非常棒的，而且美好和难忘的经历不是在目的地，不是在景点，往往是在路上。
我从来不会对没完成什么景点而觉得可惜，因为活在当下，把每一个瞬间活满，就不枉此行。
再说，下次还有机会去啊～我们要专注在完成的喜悦，不要去为了没发生的事而觉得遗憾。😊
